Interior fully renovated 2022. Split unit AC in the living areas and AC in all bedrooms. 2 large bedrooms upstairs (King in one, 2 bunks in the other). 2 smaller cottage bedrooms downstairs (Queen in one, full in the other). 55” TV in the common space, 43” in the master bedroom, and 32” in the first floor Queen bedroom. There is a deck with teak dining set off the back of the house with outdoor shower. The neighborhood entrance to beautiful Ferry beach is at the end of the street.

A week at the beach

Lovely house in quiet neighbourhood. Very close to the beach. Walking distance to general store, lobster pound and Huot's restaurant.

Perfect dog friendly beach get away!

Great location, few steps from the beach. Large house well renovated. Outdoor patio for family meals. Everything perfect. This was our second time in this house and we booked for next year. The beach is also very nice and dog friendly all year round, which is not usual. Our dog Enzo, enjoyed the house and the beach :0)

Nice spot close to the beach

Amazing week at Eagle’s landing place. Perfect setup for two families with young kids. Close to the beach, all the essentials are available. We would come back for sure !

Summer fun

Big kitchen table was great for gathering for meals. Enjoyed meals on the deck as well. Lots to do in the area so a great location. Just had to bring a lot of things like beach towels and chairs and linens for all the beds and bath, toilet paper and soap for sinks. Had a nice time.

Saco beach perfect trip

Perfectly located, short walk to the marvellous beach. Large house, plenty of space for all. Beautiful deck. Well renovated, AC everywhere. Nice deco. Great to bring the dog, who had his own cushion! Highly recommend and would go back.

Clean, spacious, beautiful vacation home

Photos do not do this home justice and the location cannot be beat. We spent a wonderful week with extended family with plenty of room to spend together and also find a quiet place to read or nap. The location is a skip to the beach, and walking distance to the marina, Huots for cocktails and live music, the Camp Ellis General Store for coffee of a great sandwich and the Lobster Pot where you can place an order for perfectly steamed lobsters. The home was spotless and clean and so well decorated and homey! We look forward to booking again!

Great beach house

The one suggestion we have is that David should advertise on the VRBO site that the guests need to bring linens, towels, TP, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies. We were able to adjust our plans, but others coming by plane or from overseas would have to bring extra luggage or buy them locally.

Lovely beach house

This house was perfect for our two toddlers and pup, as well as the grandparents! The house was a very short walk to the beach, which was never crowded and allowed dogs on leashes, making it perfect for everyone! The house was neat and clean and had plenty of sleeping spaces for everyone. Dave sent us a property summary a few days prior to our arrival that outlined everything we’d need to bring, especially things that were not specifically listed in the vrbo listing (bed sheets, towels, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.). It was very helpful as we were able to be fully packed and prepared for our week. Definitely recommend this house for people of all ages!

What a wonderful week we had! The house, location, and most of all the experience we had with our host! Check in and check out were very simple and we really appreciated the 2pm arrival time. The neighborhood is quiet and quaint, and just a short pretty walk to the beach. We were able to set up in the same spot every day for the week, and so did all the other families there that our kids immediately made friends with and got to play with all week. From beautiful 5:30am sunrises, to watching the tides roll in and out all day while our kids played on the boogie boards, to watching the OOB fireworks from the comfort of our own beach at night, it was just perfect. Communication was AMAZING! The fridge was not cooling properly overnight after arrival and we reached out to the host and he replied very quickly. He worked hard to find a repairman to come on Sunday and stayed in touch the entire time to give us updates and apologies. The repairman came and tried a possible fix that didn't end up working so the next day we were brought a replacement fridge. He made every effort not to inconvenience us any further and even generously gave a partial refund for the trouble without being asked. We would absolutely rent this house again!

Our family has been traveling to Ferry Beach for many years, visiting with friends and making many fabulous memories. In 2019 we finally pulled the trigger and bought our own little cottage at 6 Eagle Ave, partly as a Summer rental property, but mostly for our family to enjoy the rest of the year. When 1 Eagle went on the market in early 2022, despite a seller’s market and not amazing timing for us financially, we seized the opportunity and made an aggressive early bid. We knew substantial renovations would be needed and immediately set to work gutting the interior, updating all the electrical and plumbing, and recreating the space. We love what we’ve accomplished and are proud to have a beautiful rental property. If you come to stay please be sure to check out our book of renovation photos!
