As a Volunteer Community Leader for more than 750 short-term rental hosts in Colorado, I've been trained to provide top-notch hospitality and am committed to your satisfaction, Community Leaders help other hosts excel which is why a major STR site commits considerable time to train and assist us.

At Timber Haven, you'll enjoy our private basement apartment with private entrance, air conditioning, eat-in kitchenette and private outdoor hot tub. Whether you are looking for clean, quiet accommodations for two or a space big enough for you and the kids, Timber Haven fits the bill.

Close to many attractions yet set in a serene neighborhood with a park and playground just steps away, our basement suite features a kitchenette with enough appliances to cook a gourmet meal, a super comfy king size bed in the private bedroom plus two additional double futon beds with memory foam toppers in the living room. There’s even a ping pong table and games in your suite! Our backyard is available for grilling or just enjoying a game of cornhole on the green lawn.

Don't forget your swim suits to enjoy the 5-person hot tub after a long day of sight-seeing or visiting with family and friends or enjoy a BBQ in the backyard. There is a 55" TV in the living area with Netflix and another large TV in the master bedroom. We've even added a comfy leather recliner to make your stay feel more like home.

You'll enter through the private side entrance and come on into the private lobby. Head downstairs to your suite and enjoy the peace and quiet. We live on the upstairs floors but Steve and I are very quiet and want your stay to be enjoyable.

We offer extra amenities like a coffee/tea bar, snacks, salt/pepper, shampoo/conditioner, robes, games, movies, and flip flops for your foray to the hot tub. We even provide a white noise machine in the bedroom! Looking for a longer stay? Our suite is well-equipped to host you for up to 3 months.

We've been hosting satisfied guests since 2016 and we hope you will give us the opportunity to show you some 5-star hospitality!

Great home away from home during an extended family celebration and visit

We just stayed a couple of nights so did not use the hot tub and can’t comment on that. Everything was in order and perfectly clean and welcoming. The nights (and days) were freezing but we’d have never known because the preset temperature was perfect! They had a Keurig coffee maker with a large selection of coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. The bathroom was clean and we were provided with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, etc. the beds were comfortable and cozy. They have a ping pong table, too! Great stay!

Viola made this experience one of the best experiences that I have had with a Vrbo! Her hospitality was behind what was expected. The downstairs facility was more than adequate for myself and my daughter, and we could’ve brought extra people with us. She had some great state-of-the-art cooking appliances to make our stay easier and of course the hot tub was fabulous. The only downside I have are the stairs are a little bit, steep to go down to the basement so keep that in mind if you’re not able to move very well up and downstairs but overall 10 out of 10 I would definitely stay here again. One of the best features is the drive off of the mountain out of the neighborhood. You have a beautiful view of Pikes Peak, and the gardens.

The Perfect Place

Colorado Springs Air Force Academy Visit

Wonderful place to spend the week while my kids attended sports camps at the Air Force Academy. Short drive to all the cool things to do in Colorado Springs. Viola and Steve went above and beyond taking care of us during our stay. Would definitely stay there again!

Perfect weekend retreat

We loved our stay at LaBella Terra! We had access to everything we needed amd more. The hot tub was so nice for recovery after the trek up the Manitou Incline. Viola and Steve were lovely hosts and thought of just about everything. We appreciated all the little notes and visitor guides. We will definitely stay again next time we are in the area.

Nice location

Friendly, helpful hosts! Spacious comfortable place. We didn’t realize that there was no air conditioning when we reserved this site. It was very warm in July.

Steve and I have been hosting on another STR site since 2016 and we enjoy a 4.98 rating mostly due to our incredibly friendly and respectful guests. We love supplying a comfortable, clean, affordable place were people can make memories. We work upstairs but we are very quiet. If you want to chat, we are just a text away! We are happy to offer suggestions for places to go or things to do but mostly we just give you your privacy.

This property is in a safe, quiet subdivision of Colorado Springs near two parks, dining and shopping. Walking paths are just down the street and we are about 15-20 minutes from the Springs’ major attractions.

Guests love our sparkling clean, Colorado-themed space, the hot tub and the well-stocked kitchenette complete with full-size fridge, sink, dishwasher, Keurig, microwave, toaster oven, electric skillet, blender, hot plate and electric kettle. The 55" Smart TV and in-suite ping pong keeps everyone entertained. The king size bed gets rave reviews and more than one guest has asked where they can get our pillows!
