The sunsets have to be seen to be believed and you'll appreciate the comfortable elegance of both the layout and the décor. The private dock is the perfect place to stargaze, fish, or just catch some rays during the day. Grill out on the porch or use our stocked kitchen. You will find what you need for family meals at the custom built table. Come enjoy a jewel on the Waccamaw River in Pawleys Island, SC.
This home can be made handicap accessible with notice. We store a custom built ramp to the front door and can set that up to suit your needs.

A Relaxing Stay by the River

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brewster's river house. The house was well equipped and beautifully appointed. We especially enjoyed lounging on the covered deck with a glass of wine and taking in the gorgeous view!

Our family had a wonderful week here with all the amenities one would need for a vacation stay. The sunsets across the Waccamaw and marshes were gorgeous! Our host was so nice and made sure we had everything we needed. Perhaps the best part was the house had been a family home and still exuded that warm and inviting feeling, very unlike the many sterile rental properties decorated and void of character. We hope to return next year.

Great House and location

Overall great house with plenty of space and places to relax and hangout. We were there for a golf weekend and it is less than 10 minutes to all the main courses. Would recommend this house to anyone!

Best Ever!

As a regular VRBO user, I have stayed in many properties BUT this one is especially noteworthy!I used this location as a spot for reunion of long time friends.The property itself is perfectly placed along the intracoastal waterway sporting perfect views and affording direct access with a spot on the dock for your boat!The home was very clean, well stocked and well maintained.Also important, the owner of the home was easily accessible and accommodated questions we had early in our stay.There is much to enjoy at the property and much to do in the Pawleys island area! Our stay is one we so enjoyed and will be talking about very fondly for many years.We only regret we couldn't stay longer!!

Cabin Feeling on the Waccamaw

This was an amazing house. We felt right at home when we walked in. The appliances were in great shape, and the furniture and the beds were comfortable. The house was modern but had a rustic feel with the wood flooring and trim. This is definitely a do-over..

Peaceful retreat

This was a fantastic week on vacation! All of my grown children and my fiancé and I and everyone’s partners enjoyed the dock so much. We caught 18 stingrays, 16 Garre, which were gigantic, multiple turtles and a softshell turtle and a 31 pound catfish and a couple of smaller ones. We also caught lots of crabs and shrimp. We saw a huge alligator between our dock and the one beside us one morning along with two others when we went fishing on the boat there in the river. We also had an encounter with a wild boar and a manatee swam directly in front of us at the end of the dock and dolphins. We had a wild week there on the dock, but it was fantastic. Definitely plan to make this our once a year vacation home away from home. I would recommend this home to anybody for vacation. The television only came on twice the entire time we were there.
