Beautiful view in a cozy cabin!

We loved our stay! The first two days were stormy and windy so we hunkered own on the couch and watched movies! The next two days were beautiful and sunny so we took the canoe out. Loved the cabin and would stay here again!

Relaxing waves

The cabin is small but close to the water and everything my wife and I needed. When it was rainy you could hear the waves splashing on the rocks and the rain on the tin roof. When it was sunny, it set right it the back window across the lake for a beautiful scene.

The best

This was my second year, renting the cabin and I absolutely love it. There’s so much to do. The views are gorgeous. It’s very clean and peaceful. My family and I will be returning again. We’ve made the best memories there.

Cozy Cabin with amazing views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend for anyone staying in Sodas Bay Area. I recommend an all wheel drive vehicle- gravel driveway is a little steep.

The Lake

Loved the place, the view and the solitude. I grew up in the finger Lakes and spent many days at Sodus Point. Although the beach was treacherous getting there was worth the walk. Only suggestion I have is the house needs more hooks to hang clothes and towels from. Otherwise the most relaxing vacation I've had in a long time. Jane Wells

Family Week at the Lake

Everything thing about this place was perfect for us. The location is amazing. there is no way any photographs taken can depict the beauty of the view and the lake. My wife enjoyed the many seating areas and vantage points available on both the interior and exterior of the cabin. The sunsets are some of the best I have ever seen. all from the Comfort of the bluff behind the cabin. The kids really enjoyed playing in the lake on the kayaks, paddle boards and floats provided. 3 restaurants are within an easy drive of the cabin and Sodus point is a very short drive away (15 mins). We also enjoyed chimney bluffs state park which is about 5 minutes away. Will definitely add this to our list of places to go back to.

I surprised my wife with this cabin on Lake Ontario for our honeymoon. I’m not going to lie I honestly did not expect for this property to be this perfect. The lovely couple that own the property put so much time into the renovations inside and out adding in so many lake activities at your disposal. We did not get a chance to go out on the lake because it was just too cold when we went but the 3 different outdoor hangout locations on the property gave us the opportunity to really soak in the beauty of that lake and the location of this house is in such a perfect spot for being able to really see the beauty of the lake. They also supplied all of the fire wood for our 8 days and stayed in contact with me as I had questions and always very quick to respond. If you are looking for a beautiful view, nature, sunsets and rises and about as private as you can possibly get in a lake house…. This is the place. They truly covered everything we could need

Hello, we're Dan and Jess, and this is our beautiful home away from home. We both live and work in New York City, so this is our ultimate escape. It has always been a dream of ours to have a getaway like this, so we are beyond excited to share it with all of you. We love to spend time at the cabin and enjoy the lake and all the nature around it.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

The Property:
The house is situated on top of the bluffs overlooking Lake Ontario. There is a patio area right outside of the deck where you can sit out and enjoy the sunsets way above the lake. A lower level has much more space to relax and sit around the fireplace. As you make your way down to the water, you will see the beautiful rock beach with crystal clear waters which you can enjoy. Have fun looking at the assortment of unique rocks, and you may even find some sea glass!

The House:
The house is a cozy two bedroom cottage which is wood filled and sun drenched. The natural light is in abundance as every wall boasts multiple windows. You can enjoy panoramic views of Lake Ontario from the home with views out of every single window. You can even see Crescent Beach and Sodus Bay from the living room.

The Living Room:
Enjoy the cozy living room by relaxing on the couch reading, enjoying the views, admiring the wildlife swimming and flying, or by watching the TV. The Smart TV offers many options of entertainment along with the xbox game consul with multiple games. The bar table behind the couch allows you to eat your meals while viewing the lake from all angles. Sit back and relax in the corner reading nook situated right next to the window with a spectacular view.
