Great spot, huge place, super comfortable

Our group consisted of 8 adults and one kiddo. Plenty of room for more. Great access to the lake with a nice dock. Huge living room and nice deck overlooking the lake. Fire ring near the dock.. Our second time here, won't be our last! Owners were super responsive, very accommodating!

Plenty of room!

It is difficult for us to find a location that can fit all 14 of us, but this home did it easily! Everyone had a bed that was comfortable we enjoyed our stay very much. The upstairs shower and the shower in the basement was not a clean as it should have been so we ended up taking all of our showers on the first floor. The swimming isn't great - very weedy and mucky - even out in the middle of the lake. A few days were very hot and the AC kept up as well as it could. The very cool basement was really appreciated. Mike was a pleasure to deal with.

Can’t beat the view from the deck

It’s a large comfortable house right on the bay. Many improvements have been made and the host is fantastic to work with. Our family gathering involved a lot of fun meals together and the kitchen and large dining area were just what we needed, well equipped and spacious.

Quiet Bayside Retreat

This property is a great location on the water with a good sized deck overlooking the water. The "great room" main living area was well suited to our family vacation with enough space to prepare meals and play games in the evening. The pool table was an added bonus. We didn't use the hot tub but I'm sure others might find it to be a good option. Host was very pleasant and answered our question almost instantly via phone or text. The WiFi supported family members that needed to work remotely part of the time. We would consider renting it again, since the host is clearly working to upgrade features of the property (boxes of new items waiting to be installed).

Family vaca!

We had 12 of us staying ages 3 thru 66 there is plenty of room for everyone. The property and location are described very well on the website. There are some small items throughout the house that could use some TLC but I would definetly recommend it for your stay!

Great access to dock and launch was right across the bay. Lake Ontario was a quick ride down the water and was so clear! Huge house, plenty of room for us. The AC was very useful-worked very well for such a large home. Would stay here again!

Stay at Port Bay Home

This Port Bay Home is in a beautiful location, great views of the Bay! Plenty to do for everyone with 2 kayaks, dock, pool table, shuffle board table, hot tub. Nice toys available for toddlers and younger children, plenty of games for all ages. Two beautiful beaches 20 min. away. Lots of room in the house for families or a large group. Could use a little updating & TLC, otherwise very nice home. Would rent this home again.

Wonderful family vacation!

Had a great relaxing week. Plenty of space to spread out and enjoy. Plenty of sleeping space and things to do. Great water access through the dock but entering water from shore could use a little improvement to make safer. If you have a big group interested in a great place to hang together, I highly recommend this rental.

Wonderful Place For A Family With A Pup!

This cottage was very good choice for what we had planned for a stay. We were not at the house a lot and really just needed a semi comfortable place to sleep. The area is beautiful and it is pretty easy to find. The water was calm everyday and the neighbors were wonderful people. Being able to have the dock to tie the boat out all week was definitely a plus. A very pet friendly place to stay in for sure. The swimming area was pretty nice, but lots of seaweed and was pretty muddy. The cottage is a very short drive from sodus point so I would recommend swimming there Or off a boat in the bay. The inside of the house was pretty tidy and had lots of space. It is quite difficult to get a boat trailer down the drive and parked out of the way. Would recommend maybe finding another place or just finding a remote spot to park your boat trailer if you have one. The carpet on the stairs smelled like a greasy teenager had been sleeping on it for a month. The previous tenants left the screened in porch a mess and we have to spend about an hour cleaning and organizing to make it comfortable to be in the hot tub. The hot tub could have used a good cleaning. There was visible silt in the bottom and dried skin on the edge. The yard is smaller than the photos make it look. The paddle boat mentioned in the listing is half sunk and was full of water in the inside so was unusable. Overall this was not a bad place at all, just had its qwerks.

Review of stay

Mike was a great person to work with. He let me know what wasn't working prior to our arrival and when we needed something, he got it to me the next day. The property was exactly as we expected and we all enjoyed our time. Loved the large deck and using the kayaks. The kids enjoyed the pool table too. I would definitely would rent this property again.

Port Bay Lake House

The property easily accommodated all 12 of us and our 4 dogs as promised. Mike let us know before arrival of a problem his cleaning crew found and it was quickly fixed. Although we found one other issue upon arrival, Mike was very responsive and quickly corrected it too. The house was great whether the sun was shining or it was a rainy day with all of the indoor and outdoor amenities. Mike was great host.

Comfortable, relaxing and spacious house on Port Bay.

We had a lovely and relaxing time at this house on Port Bay in Wolcott. The owner was very accessible and accommodating. We enjoyed our time in a spacious house with a game room, kayaks and hot tub!

Week at the Bay

What a wonderful week we had staying at this lovely bay front home. The view, the location, everything was perfect, just what we hoped for. Can't wait to go back there again.

Family vacation

I love lake Ontario. Brought my fiance here for her first time . This is the house if you have a big family. There was room for us all . The upstairs was perfect for my adult son , and his family . There are 3 big bedrooms and a full bath . 5 people up there comfortable. Main floor is huge . Our master bedroom was terrific and 2 full bathrooms. The living room with 3 couches was perfect to sit around and figure out your day . The kitchen had everything you could possibly need . Off the kitchen is a enormous deck looking out to the lake . Then downstairs is perfect too. A pool table hot tub and another full bedroom and bathroom. Thank you Mike for making this great home available to us all .

the house was fine and the yard was level for playing games.the one issue that was not the property owners falt was fixed asap.overall we had a good time and the owner always responded to any emails we sent him very timely

Wonderful Family Week

This was our second stay at Mike's house. We had another wonderful week of relaxing, fishing, kayaking, hot tub, campfires, playing cards and games with my husbands family. Mike has always been very easy to work with and helpful. We really enjoyed the quietness this year because of the high water, there weren't many boats or jet skis. The weather for our week was perfect too. Thanks Mike for sharing your house with our family.

This property is unique because of its sheer size. The open main floor and amount of bedrooms and bathrooms makes this the perfect place . You have a private dock for boats and friends to visit. The sunrise and sunsets on the bay are breathtaking.

Peaceful, serene escape with lots of room. Families can share vacations and have time for swimming, fishing, shooting pool, hot tub, fire in the firepit, cookouts and just watching the sunsets on the bay.
