Highly Recommended stay on Elbow Cay

I highly recommend you book this property ASAP. Sunsations is located in central Elbow Cay, close to everything. On Da Beach Bar and Restaurant is within walking distance and an ideal place for meals or watching the waves with a cold drink - great place to watch a sunrise. Clara and Elbow Cay Properties are A, and communication, service, and flexibility are top notch. The house is perfect for groups with three separate living areas. Everything you would expect is provided. Air conditioning is cold and comfortable in all areas, and showers are hot. Wifi (Starlink) is snappy, but I couldn't get it in the separate bedroom off the kitchen. Coffeemaker has a mesh filter, so no need for coffee filters. The large refrigerator and pantry closet have space for everything. Everything is very expensive on the island, so bring in your groceries from Maxwell's grocery in Marsh Harbour. However, if you need something, there are several convenience stores very close by. White Sound Beach is right out the back and a minute trail walk.

Really Great House for Groups

The communication, the rapid responses, the many answered questions were all wonderfully answered. Sunsation is an excellent house with a wonderful layout. Every room has privacy and then the best part of the house, in my opinion, is the common area. The balcony facing the ocean is my favorite. The living room, also facing the ocean is breathtaking. The dinning room is very spacious and also has a magnificent view. The kitchen is huge, very well designed and has plenty of pots pans plates everything that a great kitchen needs.The second bedroom upstairs is also excellent. This bedroom is private and being separated from the main house gives this space a place to get away from the party if someone needs some space. Then there is the downstairs with easy access to the bottom of the house and rapid access to the ocean it is wonderful. If someone is downstairs they can also enjoy privacy or everyone can get together at the downstairs balcony or the huge upstairs balcony. Bottom line. Sunsation worked perfect for me and my family and my guests.

We loved the location and the short stroll to the beach every day.

She met us at the dock with a van and helped us move six coolers and a bunch of supplies to the house with a smile. Then, my wife lost her phone in the middle of the trip and Monica activated the Hope Town network. The phone was found and returned very quickly. We spend 2-3 vacations a year in rental houses, and we cook a lot. This house’s kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we have experienced. The views from the house were amazing. We loved the location, which was in between the Settlement and White Sound. The two grocery stores were right around the corner. We kept our boat at the Sunset Exclusive docks - which was also close by - and a shout out to Junior, who was also great. While it would not prevent me from staying here again, the grill was weird. It was a countertop grill place on the deck. I had to kneel to use it. It was out of place for a property of this caliber.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: After several trips as a kid, I was able to visit with my husband and children and they experienced the magic that is Hope Town! Monica was amazing and supported our travels all along the way, not a simple trip with 12 people, but Monica made it easy. We would rent Sunsation over and over, but two things to keep in mind, the second bedroom is separate and might not be ideal with little kids, better for tweens/teens are multiple couples. And no laundry, but laundry service is available down the road.
