LOCATION

Located on the quieter, private side of Kerr Lake. Our area is often separated from the main lake by the Nutbush Bridge (depending on water levels), creating a peaceful, less-traveled section perfect for relaxing. You'll have access to three scenic coves and a wide open stretch of water right in front of the property—great for tubing, wakeboarding, and fishing. Two public boat ramps are just a mile away: one gives access to our side of the lake, the other to the main side, so you can explore both with ease.

Great experience!

The home and outdoor areas were extremely accommodating to our group of anglers with multiple boats. It is worth coming back to with family or couples vacation.

The house and lake are outstanding. We felt like we had the lake all to ourselves most days. There isn't a whole lot to see/do in the surrounding areas, but if you are looking to unwind and just relax, this place is perfect. Amanda is very responsive and does everything she can to make your stay a good experience.

Fabulous New Years Stay!

We stayed here for a New Years Eve getaway with 5 adults and one toddler (age 1.5) and everyone had a wonderful time. The space is clean, well-stocked, and gorgeous (the view of the lake at sunset is spectacular). We'd happily stay here again. Thanks!

Kerr lake house

The property was beautiful and the house was amazing! All the amenities and was truly a home away from home. Great communication with the host and would stay there again. The area was quiet and clean. Loved it❤️

Amazing Lake Getaway

The view is gorgeous, the property is well-maintained and stocked with everything. We had a wonderful vacation, and would absolutely stay there again! You can tell the owners have a lot of pride in their home, by the way they have decorated and created a warm and welcoming environment.

Relaxing Vacation With A View

We had such a great week at this vacation rental. The views are incredible. Being on this quiet part of the lake is a huge bonus. We watched eagles flying around all week. The fishing was great too. The house has plenty of room for a large family to stay in. It's all very open and bright. The sunsets are incredible , especially while enjoying a fire on the patio. It's close to Henderson for any necessities, and for us to have our groceries delivered! The house is well stocked with anything you might need. Both docks are very nice and we enjoyed our time in and on the water. We are already talking about our trip back next summer!

The house was exactly as advertised. The views were better than advertised! Amanda was so easy to work with, gave great recommendations for local things to do and boat rentals. Great Stay

We had a great time at this property. Amanda was very quick on communication. The location is very good, unless you want to go to the other parts of Kerr Dam, as the nutbush bridge is very low and we could not get under in on jet skis. It does keep it more secluded, and there is plenty of room for tubing and cruising around. The house was clean and has a great view. Would have no hesitation on renting again!!

Lake Life!

The location of this house is awesome! We went with another family and had so much fun hanging on the docks, jumping in the water off the dock and floating on inner-tubes. The patio was awesome for morning coffee and evening fires. We mostly stayed on the boat dock, however the smaller dock had morning shade and was a perfect spot for yoga. Amanda was awesome and made sure we were happy. Highly recommend and although we have a rule not to go the same place twice, we may have to bend for this one!

Perfect Getaway

We absolutely loved our time at this beautiful, scenic little piece of paradise. The views from inside the home, the screened in porch, and even in the cul-de-sac are amazing! We had everything we needed and more. The house was stocked with plenty of towels, all your kitchen necessities, a clean hot tub, and comfy beds. Everything was labeled, neat, and clean. The neighborhood was quiet and great for running and walking. The owner was wonderful and responsive, even sending a note to check in after our arrival. Easy check in and check out. Highly recommend and cannot wait to go back! THANK YOU!

Memories to last a lifetime!

We had an amazing time at this property! You pretty much have your own peninsula. The two docks were so nice to have. We used one for fishing and one for swimming. We definitely recommend getting the water package (water pad, kayaks and paddle boards). All items were used throughout the week. Our group included two families of four and two grandparents. We all had plenty of room to spread out and the littles loved the bunk room. The house had a well stocked kitchen, linens, blankets, etc. Amanda was very easy to get in touch with for any questions. The wifi/service is a bit spotty so if you’re needing to work, it’s not ideal but in all honesty you should be enjoying the lake/scenery instead.

Terrific week

Really enjoyed our time. Very quiet and relaxing with great weather. Everyone was very friendly. Great access to the lake. Only caught one all week, but that’s why they call it fishing. Would definitely rent here again.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home on Lake Kerr! The views of the lake where amazing. The hot tub and fire pit were great for relaxing at night. The kitchen was well equipped. Great amenities and hospitable Hosts.

Christmas week vacation

Awesome views on the lake. We really enjoyed our time there. Overall place was fairly clean, but a lot of dirty pots and pans in the cabinet. And my only other complaint was, there was 3 fireplaces that clearly hasn’t been used in long time. No racks for the wood in them. Gas logs would be a nice addition. But overall all we had a great Christmas there. We would definitely consider staying again. Thanks

Beauty & Tranquility

We have a family of 6 and 3 dogs, and this home was more than big enough for us. Nice big rooms, very well equipped kitchen, and very clean when we arrived and love the kayaks that awaited us. The lake is beautiful and we swam and fished and kayaked and just loved the view from the back deck. The grill really came in handy because we grilled every nite. This place is perfect for families looking to just enjoy some wonderful time on a great big lake, spot some bald eagles, and take in some beautiful sunsets.

The view was beautiful the house fit our whole family our kids were in love with the home ... and the owner were wonderful.... this house was rented for our wedding but is now going to become a yearly vacation spot for our family

Great rental property!

Open floor plan, easy access to boat ramp. Took are 6 grandchildren they loved the 2 separate docks. Used one for fishing and docking boat , the other strictly for swimming and paddle boarding. Highly recommend this property. Kimberly Beveridge Maryland

Wonderful spot tucked away on Kerr Lake.

Very nice, quiet house that sits on the top of a hill at the edge of the lake. It was clean and well maintained. Because of the bridge, there isn't much boat traffic other than from the park or other folks down the road. I expected more of a beach to sit with the kids, but there wasn't much. Just stairs that lead down to the lake. We ended up on the docks quite a bit, which was fine, but with smaller kids it was a few extra steps. The rest of the house was great. Internet was fast and reliable. Tom/Mandy were quick to respond as I had a few questions about the lake.

This is a special property / location for us in so many ways. It offers breath taking views all day (and especially at sunset). Since it sits on a point, you'll enjoy 180 degree views of the water. With the amazing patio overlooking the lake, you will love waking up in the AM and enjoying a cup of coffee, watching the calm water and bird watching. Or, in the evenings, enjoy a nice drink while cooking on the grill while enjoying the beautiful sunset.
