Stay at our fully furnished cottage while you enjoy all the wonderful family activities. Catch some of our famous bass and blue gill, or just enjoy boating, skiing, kayaking on our beautiful lake. Easy access to private boat ramp. Many wonderful family activities. Access to the resort facilities include swimming pools, hot tub, pool tables and ping pong. Pickle ball/tennis courts. A mile to the springs. Hiking/ biking/ATV trails . Or if the kids are tired just relax with the family. watching our 65" TV

Had a great time at Chris's cottage! Everything went smoothly from the reservation on. Got some beautiful shots of the sunset from the bench in front of the cottage. What a view!! Very clean, and well supplied, had everything we needed. We went to Silver Glen 1 day and Salt Springs the next. Also took a dip in the lake, and enjoyed the pool.

Quaint Cozy Cabin

Our family enjoyed staying in this cabin - so close to the Lodge, swimming pools and playground. Even with all of the activity is was quiet and restful. The kitchen was well supplied, comfortable beds and bedding...plus extra towels for the pool! LOVE the large TV screen! We will be back next year!

Florida Fishing Trip

We had a great time fishing several lakes and rivers in Central florida. Great safe and secure place to stay and not have to worry about securing your fishing gear in your boat. Host was very friendly and place was clean and had everything a fisherman would need. Bait store nearby too which was a plus.

Absolutely perfect cottage and will use again. Rooms are small but the living area is large which is more important.

Nice Cottage

Very Clean. Everything you need is there. Owner is closeby and very helpful. Front porch view of the lake and very close (like 200 steps). Full kitchen. Gas grill. Parking for at least 3 vehicles at the cottage and more available across the street at the clubhouse. Large tv with movies channel. Wi-fi. We had a nice relaxing weekend.

Seems to be well kept… I love to stay in a very clean home. I also like a well equipped kitchen. And good mattresses are important.

Home Away From Home

Perfect were the 2 VRBO cabins in the Salt Springs area for our stay this summer. The cabins were more than adequately equipped with kitchen items, comfortable linens, and furniture. Everything was clean and welcoming. We will definitely return to these cabins.

The best host we’ve ever booked with!

We’ve been coming to salt spring for about 10 years or more. While the resort is not as nice as it used to be, at no fault of the hosts, our stay at his cottage was the best experience we’ve had. He made we had everything we needed and more and took pride in making our stay enjoyable despite the weather and resort issues not related to his cottage. The view and location from the cottage is the best there is here and everything is very clean and more updated than others we’ve stayed in. My sister stayed in a different cottage owned by another host that had lots of issues, and our host had an available cottage that he graciously offered for them to switch to. Old school customer service at its finest. The resort is now split owned and it’s not been a good thing for the rental owners and residents who live there. (Lack of upkeep in the game room, pool, playground, and area near the lake) all still useable, just not as nice as it was and could be. Hoping for their sake that it can be resolved so that it can return to the great place I know it was. We brought our boat, so we still enjoyed our time on the lake and fishing. Overall we still enjoyed our week there and will only book with Cris again. Thank you for your true hospitality.

My wife Barbara and I really enjoy Salt Springs! The people here are the nicest folks around. We take great pleasure in meeting new people and sharing this wonderful place with others. If you have children this is a safe, great place for them. Try and bring your bikes! We do our best to make all our guests stay here as comfortable as possible.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

The resort here is very unique. It is a slice of old Florida. The resort has been here about thirty years, so not everything is not new and shiny, but we think it adds to the charm. Big trees with Spanish moss. It's in the Ocala National Forest, so there is abundant wild life. The natural springs are amazing, and less than a mile away. It has everything very close by. Local grocery stores, small town breakfast and lunch restaurant. Very good Italian restaurant laundry and post office., It is a little over an hour to the ocean, hour and a half to the gulf coast. Disneyland and the Orlando international airport are an hour and a half away.

Peace and quiet. Relaxing. hurting, fishing, hiking, Bring your boat for watersports., Off road trails. Great people! Bring your bikes, skate boards, off road bikes or four wheelers. Hog Waller off-road park is 20 minutes away.
