Island View Lodging has 2 suites with private coded entrances, sleeps 4, 1 Queen bedroom & 1 sofa sleeper, shower & mini kitchen.
Enjoy peace and quiet at this private sanctuary just 1 mile north of Bayfield on Lake Superior from your private deck or lakefront seating.
The large lawn area slopes down to Lake Superior, where you can laze away in the lawn chairs provided, fish off the bank, launch your kayak from the shore, take a dip in the lake or enjoy a fire in the fire pit in the evening.

The "Sevona" Suite sleeps (4) 1 Queen bedroom and 1 really comfortable Queen sofa sleeper. There is a dining area, mini kitchen with stove min refrigerator, sink, dishware, and most essentials for making meals.

There is additional parking on the property for guest vehicles/Kayaks/small boat/trailer. Please notify property owner in advance.
There is also street parking.
Outdoor grilling available by notifying property owner in advance.
Outdoor dining space available.

Bayfield is home to the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, including Madeline Island. Cruises leave the Bayfield Marina daily for island touring. Local restaurants and shopping. Kayaking tours, sailing excursions, beaches and water sports available. Biking/hiking trails, fruit farms, and artist community all nearby.

Check in and check out process were great. The hosts were very accommodating and wanted to make sure we had what we needed. The location was great and quiet. The total price for 3 nights was a bit high, but there were not many options at this time of the year.

The Sevona property was perfect for a visit to Bayfield and the surrounding area. It was very clean andcomfortable, and had everything we needed. Less than 5 minutes from all the Bayfield attractions. Well manicured gardens and a perfect view with access to Lake Superior. a great

Perfect spot for a get away

Everything about this stay was great. It is a lovely, well-maintained property very close to Bayfield, yet still low key and private. I was especially impressed with how many kitchen accoutrements were provided. Management was efficient, communicative and responsive. Will definitely return!

Clean. Quiet. Close to town. Nice to go into town and but also nice to come back and relax on the private deck or sit down by the water by the beach. Beautiful area will definitely rent again.

We had a lovely trip. Beautiful view of the water from the deck and perfect area to star gaze. It’s only two miles from Bayfield which was a great distance for a morning run into town for coffee. Space was very clean and comfortable. Bed and pull out bed were comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay on this beautiful lakefront property. Morning coffee with lake views, hiking and sailing Superior and just seconds away from downtown Bayfield. The only negative thing about our trip was our length of stay and the next time definitely staying longer!

Perfect Lake Superior Girlfriend Getaway!

Our stay at Sevona Suite at Island View Lodge was just incredible. We believe we had one of the very best waterfront views in the area. There were sweet breezes and amazing flowers everywhere! We enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the patio every morning while we watched sailboats float by. We were able to explore the beach and paddleboard directly from the property. Its location is ideal and very close to Bayfield yet you feel miles from everywhere. Our group of college girlfriends uniting for our annual summer trip immensely enjoyed Island View Lodge and our lovely hosts who are onsite and so friendly and attentive. The Bayfield Washburn Ashland area is so wonderful to visit. What a gem! We will be back and we will absolutely return to the Sevona Suite at Island View Lodge! Thank you for a lovely trip. Unparalleled view

The photos hardly do justice for how beautiful this property is! Serene and peaceful with beautiful gardens. The hosts were very gracious and available when we needed help. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Wonderful Long Weekend Getaway

My husband and I enjoyed a long weekend at the "Sevona" Lakefront property in Bayfield. It is conveniently located less than 2 miles from downtown Bayfield and has AMAZING views of the water. Sunrise was especially beautiful during our stay. Check-in was a complete breeze and we had everything we needed in the cabin to enjoy our weekend. Everything was clean and well-maintained. It was the perfect accomodation for my husband and I for a weekend getaway.
