What we love most about this home is the feeling of privacy. Tucked among towering pines at the end of a quiet street, the cabin feels like a true mountain retreat while still offering convenient access to everything that makes South Lake Tahoe special.



With 6 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, there’s plenty of room for families and larger groups to spread out. The sleeping configuration includes three king bedrooms, two queen bedrooms, and a dedicated bunk room, plus two twin cots for additional flexibility.



Inside, two spacious open-concept living areas give everyone room to gather without feeling crowded. Relax by one of the fireplaces, watch a movie on the Smart TV, challenge your group to a game of pool, enjoy the electronic game table, or unwind in the private hot tub after a day exploring Tahoe.



The open kitchen is fully equipped with a gas range, stainless-steel appliances, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, cookware, and everything needed to prepare meals together. A large dining table provides plenty of room for group meals, with additional seating at the kitchen island and breakfast bar.



Outside, the forest setting is the star. Step directly from the backyard onto the Saxon Creek Trail, with miles of hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, and forest exploration right outside the door. The home also offers a large upper deck with BBQ and additional patio seating for enjoying the wooded surroundings.



The home has sleeping arrangements for up to 14 people total. Under applicable local occupancy rules, up to 8 guests are permitted, with additional children under 6 years old allowed. This makes the home particularly well suited for larger families traveling with young children who need additional bedrooms and beds without sacrificing space to gather.

Family-friendly amenities include a pack-n-play, highchair, children's dinnerware, and baby gate. A bear box is provided for secure trash management, and snow removal is handled as needed during winter conditions.

Whether you are visiting for world class skiing or to explore the local culture, our location provides the ideal home base for your adventures.



Getting Around:

This South Lake Tahoe vacation rental offers a peaceful forest setting with convenient access to the area's major attractions. The home is approximately 8 miles from town and 7 miles from Lake Tahoe, with easy access to Heavenly Ski Resort, Sierra-at-Tahoe, Lake Tahoe beaches, restaurants, grocery stores, and year-round outdoor recreation. Highway 50 is easily accessible from the home, providing a convenient route around the area and helping you avoid much of the traffic that can build up along Pioneer Trail during peak periods.



For outdoor enthusiasts, the Saxon Creek Trail is accessible directly from the backyard, so you can hike, mountain bike, or explore the surrounding forest without getting in the car. A car is recommended for exploring South Lake Tahoe and the surrounding area.
