Step into a fairytale with this quaint yellow storybook home conveniently located to the city and just a short 5 minute drive to the ocean or redwood national park. When you first drive up, you’re greeted by a huge tree-lined property with a grand long driveway that leads to the rear of the home. Next, enter your home through the French Doors that lead into your open kitchen and a breakfast bar. *All bookings must sign a vacation rental agreement prior to check in.

Peaceful

It was very quiet but, the home needs some love. The front deck needs replacing, the grounds need to be manicured, and there isnt a useable freezer, which was located in the grarage. The home itself is comfortable and the host had a local person come over to assist with the wifi. Overall a plesant stay.

Tucked away gem

We enjoyed our one night stay for our visit to Jedediah Smith park and the beach. The home was the perfect place for my husband and family and was just as advertised.

Crescent City cottage

Quaint modular tucked back away from the road. Had plenty of room for at least 6 people. Cute place, enjoyed the privacy. Had all the things we needed.

Off the beaten path...

The location was great, in regards to getting places; however, it was a bit sketchy getting there and am very glad there was a gate to close off road to the house. There was a junk yard across the road with beware of dog signs all over. This house is the nicest on this gravel road. It was comfortable for the five of us. The communication was excellent with the managers.

Comfortable but sparse in ammenities

If you want simple, this may be it. Although, sparse in any extras. Easy access to sites nearby, but surroundings of cottage itself are quite sketchy, and concerning. Great for a short stay, but bring what you need with you, that’s for sure. Walmart is very closeby, if you need anything more. We were just expecting a few more comforts than what we got in this rental.

Family vacation

Road leading into home was horrible. Issues getting into the house but those were resolved relatively quickly. Neighborhood wasn’t the best though we were close to the state park so that was very nice. Sheets on the master bed had something sticky on them and one of the other bed. the sheets were full of sand. Nothing special

Vacation in the woods

I rented this cottage so my friends that live local could come stay in it with me. While the house was nice there was not a lot of comfort. We just stayed in to visit and the couch was uncomfortable to sit for any length of time. However, if you’re heading to Crescent City and will be on the go most of the time then none of that matters. Cell service is sketchy so make sure you connect with the owners before arriving. Owners were very responsive when contacted.
