It’s Okay

We were pretty disappointed to find the wash machine was broken upon arrival. We had chosen this location over others because it had a washer and dryer. You can definitely tell it’s a rental property based on the wear and tear of the property. The view was great though and there was enough space for our family.

Beautiful View

The view from the room was stunning, the condo was very spacious and with how many people staying at the resort it was surprisingly quiet at night. We had a total of 6 people and we never felt too crowded. It was very comfortable. The only thing I would have liked to see was some basic maintenance of the condo being addressed. Some staining on the walls, and items left broken or missing, such as the lamps and the towel rod in the bathroom. Other than those little things we really enjoyed our stay. And again the view was amazing.

Beautiful views, convenient location

The views are spectacular from this 19th floor condo and I spent lots of time on the balcony. The condo is huge and we had more than enough room for 4 people. It needs a fresh coat of paint and the bedroom carpet cleaned. Lots to do within walking distance, and my teenagers loved it! Now for the negative: Massive lack of communication. Check in was a nightmare. When we pulled in, they told us to park on level 1 and then go to the lobby. There were tons of people walking down the “no pedestrians” on-ramp to the parking garage, dodging traffic, because we had no clue how else to get down to the ground floor lobby. Then I got a cart for our luggage and I asked the lady if I had to push it back up the on-ramp to the parking garage and she said yes. You mean where the signs say no pedestrians? And she said yep. Come to find out later, there is elevator access to level 2-6 I believe, of the garage. We should have parked on level 2 to begin with. I think they know the elevators get jammed with people around check in time and don’t want to add to the chaos. It took us an hour to check in and get to our condo. We had to rely on other guests to tell us pool locations, trash chute location, where additional elevators were, etc. Once we knew the layout we enjoyed our stay!

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay. It was clean upon arrival. Had an issue with the initial code used to enter but spoke with Vacasa representative and they resolved the issue. Kitchen is stocked with kitchen utensils and necessities. The bed did not have an issue like others have posted in their review so mattress may have been changed. The master toilet does still keep running, I'm assuming the ring/gasket needs replaced between tank and bowl. However, it wasn't an issue for us since it continued to function as it should. Floors look recently installed, they look nice. Sofas and side chairs were comfortable. Refrigerator was new and clean. A new dishwasher was sitting in the hall during our stay. We are assuming it will soon be an added upgrade. Overall, our stay was phenomenal.

Lack of communication

Although the condo was nice and relatively clean (found a filled drink cup in a bunk bed), we contacted customer service on day one and NEVER HEARD BACK. The WIFI did not work. After 3 calls, we just gave up.

Please Do Not Book This Rental

On day one we lugged all of our stuff up to our rental and unfortunately all excitement quickly disappeared as we noticed the floor was filthy, the bathroom was FULL of mold and the master bed was broken. The entire frame was broken from, assuming, the last renter. I took pictures and reached out to both Vacasa and the Lake Town Wharf management. I was told a “ticket was created” and that “local management was advised”. We checked in on Monday and by Saturday when we checked out we still had absolutely zero resolution or any form of assurance the issue was being taken seriously other than “local management was advised”. My husband and I had to pull the vomit-stained box spring and mattress off the frame and sleep with it on the floor. This rental costs a decent chunk of money and it was incredibly frustrating and disappointing for it to be anything less than magical. I have no hopes anything will be remedied in our situation so I hope this review serves as warning for future renters. We usually are very understanding and flexible on rentals but this was unacceptable in both the general aspect and the lack of response from any parties involved on finding a solution acceptable for everyone.

The location,view, and apartment themselves were beyond expectations and all in all after rough start of not being able to check in due to not receiving the door entry code the trip was still amazing
