Wismar Cabin- Private Beach

Relax and unwind at our cozy lakefront cabin that sleeps six. Enjoy a private, soft sandy beach on Sand Bay in beautiful Door County, where Lake Michigan is your back yard.
We, your hosts, are both retired Firefighter/Paramedics wanting to share our piece of paradise with you. Feel free to ask us any questions.

**Although we have a relaxed cancellation policy, we still incur the 4% cc fee. Your refund will be in full, minus the 4% cc fee. This is detailed in the guest contract.**

Our cozy cabin really cannot accommodate groups more than 5.
The 2nd bedroom is VERY very small, we have bunkbeds in this bedroom. The bottom bunk is full size/top bunk is a twin.
More than 3 adults is doable, once again, it`ll be very very cozy. The sofa in the living room folds out, however please know this is not a large area either. Thank you for your understanding.

One dog is allowed with special request only and $150 one-time pet fee. Guest will be asked to commit to pet waste cleanup, no pets on furniture, and no pets can be left alone if they will bark and disturb neighbors. These items will be outlined in your contract.

Entire cabin, private beach, yard, parking for two vehicles (possibly more if needed)

We`re located nearby and available for you if needed or invisible if not.

Sand Bay is known for, not only its unique sand, but also the sand bars that it envelops, this makes it ideal for All ages to truly enjoy. Perfect for wading in the shallow water, or swimming, kayaking/canoeing, paddle boarding, wind surfing, or just plain good ol’ splash/play’n around. Want to fish? The fishing opportunity`s are in your favor to casting off of a local public pier, from your kayak, lake shore, boat...you can literally catch your supper…Small Mouth Bass, Pike sound good?
***(Local/State fishing laws must be follow (Water crafts are not provided on location; however, available for rent locally and or of course visitors may bring their own)
Fun is what you will have staying at our cabin, hiking/biking trails are nearby. Access to Sand Bay Town Park is right down the path from the cabin, Rowley’s Bay is “next door” to our Sand Bay, Newport State Park also nearby. As well as everything that Door County has to offer; Drive-In, Golf, Putt Putt, Go Karting, Hiking, Biking, Boating, Charter Fishing, ice cream, local wine/vineyard tours, cherry picking fine and family friendly dining are available etc... Sister Bay is only a short drive/bike away, (approx. 4 miles).

Sister Bay is just across the peninsula from us, which is only a short drive or a beautiful bike ride (approx. 4 miles).

Our Cabin can accommodate a family of 5 comfortably/possibly 6 (it`ll be cozy with this many). There will be an extra fee of $50 per night for any additional guest beyond 5th guest (this helps cover cleaning, linens, septic cost, etc etc. You will only be able to list a maximum of 5 guest when making a reservation for our cozy cabin, thus we need to express the importance of letting us know prior to your arrival via the Airbnb messenger platform how many are in your group.

We may consider you bringing a well behaved dog. This will be determined on an individual basis. Please contact us ahead of time/prior to your arrival/confirmation of reservation to make arrangements. Again there will be an extra cleaning fee charged, ($50 to $100 per pet/per stay) depending on the size and breed.

Our cabin is in a unique beautiful area, however there are still neighbors nearby, we ask that you please be courteous of others, especially during late night hours.
