Golf Villas at Mauna Lani Q22 -1,460 sq Beach Club Access

The Golf Villas at Mauna Lani is a quiet complex with swimming pool, hot tub, and fitness center. Our Villa has two bedrooms and a loft that is set up as a third bedroom. The unit is located in the middle of this small complex. Walk around the back of the building and across the lawn to reach the pool and fitness center. We welcome families up to 6 people. The loft has two full beds with twin trundles. Lots of sleeping options.

Our unit has a well stocked kitchen including rice cooker, blender, coffee maker and grinder, additional ice maker, waffle iron, and more. We provide beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella, and two small coolers. The large washer and dryer, iron, ironing board, and hair dryer will help you look your best for an evening out at one of the nearby restaurants. We want our guests to feel at home!

The Mauna Lani Beach Club is less than a mile away. The beach is in a protected cove with very little swell or surge under most weather conditions. This area is great for little ones to play in the shallows, or more experienced swimmers and snorkelers can find plenty to see in the surrounding waters. The path through the beautiful majestic fish ponds adjacent to the beach is something that should not be missed.
If you're looking for crashing waves, the famous Hapuna Beach is approximately 5 miles away, and offers a big beach experience. There are many beautiful beaches up and down the Kona side of the island.

Golf, Golf, Golf! Mauna Lani Golf Villas is surrounded by numerous 9 hole and 18 hole courses within a 6 mile radius. Three of the courses are within the Mauna Lani area. Beautiful views abound!

Enjoy Fishing? The Kona Coast is renowned for being a big game producer. Thanks to the shape and location of the Big Island, the local waters welcome many pelagic fish following the ocean currents.

During the winter months, whale watching from shore can be some of the best. Just walk the coastal trails around Mauna Lani.

Come enjoy the Big Island's golf, beaches, fishing, scuba diving, volcanoes, small towns, and friendly people, or just sit on the beach or by the pool and relax for your entire stay.

Q22 is a very well equipped unit. The hosts were very gracious and helpful.Would have been five stars but we had a few things happen beyond the owners control, including three solid days of chainsaws and wood chippers where it was impossible to sit outside. We have been coming to the Golf Villas for 15 years and never had this happen before.

The condo was just perfect for us. The kitchen was very well equipped and everything was amazingly clean. We also really liked the location and the complex. The beds were super comfortable - which is often an issue at a rental. The very best feature, however, were Kimby and Ken as hosts. They were so responsive and helpful and just terrific in every way.

What a great location, close proximity and I mean within a 2-3 minute drive to some of the best snorkeling and family friendly beaches on the island. The unit itself was perfect for our group of adults, well stocked, clean, relaxing and plenty of space. Early morning coffee on the lanai with a view of the sunrise and sound of the birds was truly something else.

Absolutely amazing place to stay. We love the access to the Beach Club. It had the best snorkeling on the island and we visited 5 other beaches during our stay. The pool and hot tub were so nice for the evenings, as well. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, great/lots of beach towels, and so many other amenities. The owners were wonderful, easy to communicate with, and very responsive. Would highly recommend!

We had the most wonderful stay at the Mauna Lani golf villas! The condo far exceeded our expectations. It was lovely, peaceful, spacious, and equipped with anything you might need (e.g. cooking supplies, beach gear, towels, etc). The proximity to the pool was great, especially for evening swims, and the lanai was perfect for morning coffee. Having access to the private beach club was a huge bonus - we loved going early and using the cabanas, which provided excellent shade and allowed for extended beach days (the snorkeling there is amazing!). The Mauna Lani area is wonderful and has a great grocery store, coffee shop, etc. Many great beaches, restaurants, shave ice, and shops are a short drive away. Our hosts were incredible - very welcoming and communicative. We cannot wait to return on our next visit!

Great stay! The owners were super helpful throughout the process, being very prompt and provided some good recommendations.The loft was great when traveling with 2 teenagers - allowed everyone to spread out and have their own space. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook most meals at the condo. The pool/hot tub are super close (you can see it from the lanai), and a great spot in the afternoon/evenings after spending the mornings at a beach. Short drive to the Beach Club and lot of nearby beaches. Overall a great condo and we hope to visit again soon!

We have nothing but good things to say about our experience. The owners were super responsive, helpful, and friendly. The condo was amazingly well equipped - it had everything we needed. Access to the beach club was a huge win for beginning snorkelers. There are plenty of great shops and restaurants nearby. You can't go wrong here.

Wonderful Home!

This condo was a wonderful place to stay in for our first time in Hawaii. It was clean, had a well stocked kitchen and plenty of items for the beach. Chairs, snorkels, cooler etc The location was great for all the places we wanted to visit and the private beach club was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing stay

We were a family of six with two young children and had the best time! The condo is super clean and comfortable, with everything you might need. We visited nearby beaches and did some exploring. The neighborhood is very quiet — we never heard anyone. We definitely used the rental SUV every day; I'm not sure it would be doable without a car. The hosts were wonderful — super responsive but otherwise invisible. Thank you so much! We hope to return someday!

Wonderful Condo!

We loved staying at the Mauna Lani Golf Villas! Kimby & Ken were amazing hosts and super responsive with recommendations and info. We were grateful they made it possible for us to have a late check-out. The space was perfect for my husband, 5 kids and me. We loved having access to the beach club. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed. We especially loved having beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, sand toys and snorkel gear available in the condo. We had a blast paddle boarding to the captain cook monument to snorkel, doing the manta ray night snorkel, and taking the van tour down into the Waipio Valley. I'd highly recommend all of those activities. We can't wait to come back.

Paradise

Absolute perfect place to stay with family if you’re visiting the big island! The hosts were so gracious and accommodating. Place was impeccably clean. I have zero complaints. The private beach was great to have a place to go right down the street. The pool was just out back and could see it from the lanai. We will absolutely be staying here if we come back to the big island.

Quiet location near the Cove

I’m very familiar with the Mauna Lani condominium complexes as I have been staying here for the last 30 years. This condominium is very nice but not at the top for overall Decor and provisions. The location is lovely and the view from the patio is very nice. The kitchen is well-equipped. The towels in the bathrooms should be refreshed, as they are rather dingy. The pool is lovely and the landscaping is very well done.

Beautiful Place

The resort is beautiful. The grounds are immaculate. We enjoyed every minute! The hosts were great to work with. They made a couple of exceptions for us that we really appreciated!

Parking for two vehicles and a great location. Proximity to the pool & hot tub was convenient, close, but not noisy. Sunrise & morning coffee on the lanai. Clean & equipped with everything needed to cook for a family. Washer & dryer was a plus! Everything needed for the beach, towels chairs, snorkel gear, boogie boards. Access to the beach club was amazing, great host communication, perfect Alaskan winter break.

Lovely condo at Mauna Lani

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, well equipped and thoughtfully appointed condo. There was coffee for us when we arrived, which was very much appreciated. The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking, and there were lots of beach items for us to use: snorkel gear, boogie boards, towels, chairs etc. The washer/dryer worked great and detergent was provided. Communication with the owners was excellent. We would not hesitate to stay here again…among the nicest rentals of many we’ve stayed at on the Big Island.
