Stunning Views, Private Master Suite - North Shore Inn Condo 306

Condo unit 306 is a third-floor penthouse condo featuring 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It has wonderful beach views from the living area as well as the master bedroom (which is on the 2nd story of this unit!) - both areas have private patios with easy access to our private beach. This large, spacious unit gives lots of space and privacy for larger families enjoying a beachfront vacation together. The master bedroom with it's own master bathroom and master balcony are on the 2nd floor while the 2nd bedroom, 2nd bathroom, kitchen, and living area are on the first floor of this top-floor unit. It's truly a remarkable Traverse City unit!

Views were great and close enough to all activities and downtown Traverse. Pictures of unit were better than reality, floors were filthy. Also we were sold on heated pool, but was broken entire time. They stated it would be done on Monday and was not fixed till Thursday our check out day. We had to ask them on the status of the repair Tuesday and sent us to the next property that had a gross pool after complaining. Also have to go get your own towels/shampoo/conditioner if you run out. You do have to pay to do any laundry there, which I think the listing was a bit misleading on that. Loved Traverse, but not this property.

The property has a gorgeous view of the water, and is in a great location to get downtown or to wineries. Would highly recommend.

Upon further time passing, the bed was miserably uncomfortable and the toilet was so small, it felt like it was made for a child. I love the complex but will not stay in 306 again.

Great Up North Stay

The kitchen was stocked with all the necessities we needed. I appreciated silly things like paper towel and garbage bags being provided. The beach was wonderful and we loved having towels and chairs provided. The big waterside yard allowed for fantastic games of catch and an "olympic" obstacle course. We also loved that we had two other condos where our family was staying allowing us so much time together. Thank you and we can't wait to return!

Convenient to everything

The unit was clean, the grounds were well maintained, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.Plenty of chairs to use in the beach area. We enjoyed watching the wildlife: the seagulls, ducks with their babies, the geese, the swans.They were there but not obtrusive. . Shallow, but sandy swimming area, perfect for little ones to romp. The unit itself was very clean. Some of the common areas are smaller, but you’re going to be outside more than in. We stayed in a 2 bedroom and the main bedroom was spacious and tranquil. All in all a nice place to stay. They were finishing the renovations on the pool when we were there, but that area looked like it was going to be a pleasant place to utilize when all completed. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall ok

Property is is desperate need of updates and repairs. Mini blinds in all rooms are broken, some are even taped together. There are stains on the ceiling. The location was nice. I felt like for the price it should have looked better though. It was pretty clean for the most part. Probably would not stay here again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in 306. The rooms need updating. There are water stains on the ceiling. Dresser drawers in one room were missing knobs. Beds were comfortable. We suggest replacing the heavy quilts for lighter blankets in the summer. Kitchen supplies, especially glassware was lacking. Great view of the bay but overall not worth the price we paid.

Great stay

The beach was breathtaking loungers we’re such a perk to have loved not carrying chairs to the beach the water was so warm and Sandy beach was heaven to walk on. The condo was clean nicely decorated and loved the two balconies. The pool was also a great treat. The cons of our stay were the ac didn’t reach the second story master bedroom so it was warm sleeping up there. No blanket for the pull out couch bed and the ducks just would not leave us alone on the beach for a good hour. Overall I would absolutely stay again if were are in town.

The property management team was responsive and fixed the garbage disposal, but I was concerned that the unit was not checked out ahead of time to make sure that it was operational.

Girls trip weekend

This is our 2nd girls trip stay at this property. We love the units and the location. The staff and owners are very friendly and helpful before & during the stay and we will definitely try to come back!
