This property has been newly rennovated. We are a non smoking home. Close to the New San Diego's Children's Museum in Escondido, and the San Diego safari park!

Wonderful stay

We had a nice stay while being here,it definitely has a welcoming home feeling. Everything that you need is there from the kitchen to laundry needs! Clean and very spacious for a small family on vacation.

Weekend stay in Escondido

We had a comfortable stay at this location. There were a lot useful items available for our use like extra towels, kitchen items and washer + dryer was a huge plus! Overall location was ideal for us. I would recommend this place for a family stay.

Nice Place to Stay

Welcoming and clean accommodations. The nice small front yard for pups was perfect. Great neighborhood for walking and is quiet. Owner went above and beyond as she was very helpful in forwarding a package I had accidentally sent to the rental address. Would stay again!

The place was very clean and neat! Easy check-in. Location was great, near a lot of stores and restaurants. Will definitely look into this VRBO the next time we take a trip to San Diego!

Clean and modern gem

Our stay at the Vineyard in Escondido was great. The property is well kept, the kitchen was well appointed, and it served as a great jumping off point for the San Diego Zoo Safari Park as well as some hiking in the Elfin Forest area. We'll definitely return!

Nice and comfortable

I was pleasantly surprised by how much nicer this property is in person than it is in pictures. Everything we needed was included, laundry detergent, chargers, games, etc. Parking was really easy and the street was always really quiet and safe. We come to Escondido often and plan on making this our regular place to stay. Thank you for a great stay!

Exceeded expectations

The property was very clean and provided all of the necessities – towels, dishes, personal hygiene items, family-oriented games, TV, etc. The owner was responsive, friendly and instructions were clear. If we're ever in the Escondido area again, we'll definitely stay again.

Perfectly clean and cozy

I stayed here for out first family vacation with my husband and our almost 2 year old. It really was perfectly clean and yet cozy at the same time. The place feels much larger than the pics and the sqft provider, they did a great job with simple decor and set up of living room and kitchen. It was easy to keep my eyes on my kid meanwhile I prepped food. The walls are on the thin side but we didn’t mind as we were probably the louder ones with the toddler. Place in a great location near their downtown area. Really enjoyed our stay!! Definitely recommend!

As Advertised

The unit was exactly as described except for some damage that a previous occupant had done that hadn't been fixed yet. The host was clear and communicative throughout, though. The kitchen really was fully equipped including a spice rack, which made cooking a real pleasure. You'll want to be aware in case it matters to you that one of the bedrooms does not have a window, which we found made it pleasantly dark but might make others uncomfortable. We also found the beds to be too springy for our personal taste, but, again, it's up to you whether that's a positive or a negative. It really is convenient to everywhere we needed to go, and I'm sure we would stay here again.

Not a comfortable stay

Positives: The location and neighborhood was nice. The yard is fenced with no chance of your dog getting out. The inside layout is nice, plenty of counterspace and nice stove to cook on. Plenty of kitchen items to be able to cook and eat comfortably. Bathroom had plenty of room and is nicely laid out. Negatives: Parking was a challenge since it is street parking and typically first come first serve which the listing did mention, but it also mentioned a carport that was available but no clear direction on where it was located on the property or which space was designated for our unit to use and the carport area is very dark at night with no walkway lighting to see. Cleanliness was ok, but did have to clean up after someone else's dog in the yard. The way the AC is positioned it doesn't cool the bedrooms very well. The fridge doors didn't close and seal like they should and the freezer drawer handle is broken and difficult to open. The furniture could use to be just a little better quality. The biggest issue we had were the beds. They were very uncomfortable and did not get a lot of sleep during our stay. One mattress looked to be just a foam type mattress that is only about 8" thick. the other mattress didn't fit the frame, was to small and extremely uncomfortable to lay on. These REALLY need to be upgraded/updated!
