The Summit PCB 532 ** 2 Bed, 2 Bath ** East Corner Beachfront

This well-maintained Summit Beach Resort condominium is conveniently located on the 5th floor of this 15-story complex. The Summit is centrally located on Thomas Drive near numerous restaurants, shops and family entertainment venues. This excellent 5th floor unit offers an amazing gulf view from its wrap-around beachfront balcony. A large and fully equipped kitchen with bar area, dining area, living room and two bedrooms make for a very comfortable vacation. This condo offers a king bed in the master bedroom with a private bathroom. A second bedroom provides one full size and one twin bed, and the living room offers 2 queen size sofa sleepers. This unit comfortably accommodates up to 7 guests. The Summit has 3 large parking lots, tennis courts, basketball court, shuffleboard court, indoor gym, 4 pools, 3 hot tubs and dry saunas. Additionally, there is a gift shop/convenience store on-site, along with Bikini Bob's Restaurant & Bar and a poolside tiki bar.

NOT INCLUDED: A refundable security deposit of $300 (charged within 24 hours of your arrival date) and The Summit Owner's Association registration fee (paid upon arrival to the Summit Owner's Association in the lobby) is $27 and includes 1 parking pass & up to 7 property armbands. Extra parking pass $27.

Small things matter

The A/C could not be set lower than 69 and being an end unit the sun kept the unit very uncomfortable. There were no ceiling fans to help assist with the temperature. There was an ironing board, no iron, bathroom didn't have a trash can, and no hangers in the closets.

Very Disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we first got our stuff in our room, the room was filthy. Dirt everywhere. Rug and couch was so disgusting we had to cover them in sheets to sit in them. They looked like something they picked up from the goodwill. The toilet in the master bath would fill 3 or 4 times a night that was very loud and would wake you all night. There was a constant drip in the bathtub. The pools were closed by 6:30. When we got there I had to call and complain about the room and they sent someone up within the hour to clean it. But seeing our stuff was already there we couldn't just leave and do anything until she was finished. Then that night we went to bed there were no flat sheets on 2 of the beds just the blanket that they don't wash was thre over the sheet. Had to call the next morning she came up within the hour and checked to make sure we wasn't lying about the sheets then left them with us. The elevators stayed broke more than they worked and we had 2 disabled elderly women with us that only left the room a couple times because of the inconvenience of the broken elevator. When I called to book my stay I specifically asked for a room by the elevator because of the elderly women who really wanted to go to the beach. They assured it was a new elevator on that end and thought we would be pleased. We were not pleased and room 532 is by far the worst room I have ever had at the summit.

We loved the room on 5th floor and on the corner. Our friend is on Oxygen 24/7 so the balcony gave her a couple of views to see PCB. The room was nice and well stocked. We liked the washer, dryer , and ice maker! It is still difficult for us older ones with renting condos versus a motel . There is no one to talk to when it comes to checking in or calling front desk if the lock won’t open your door. There is no one to ask about things. The pool area was very nice and it made it easy for the day because you could get your lunch and plenty to drink. We will definitely be using the SUMMIT again and telling our friends and family about it!! Thank you for a great stay.

Not satisfied at all

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stay at the Summit every year as it is usually a nice experience. This year was very different and we are not satisfied to say the least. Our room was dirty and only supplied 1 towel for each person (we had 4 people in our group) to last us the entire week of our stay. The washer and dryer was terrible. Our clothes were never dry. Our balcony was dirty and didn’t look like it had been swept as there was a “press on nail” of what appeared to be the last person to stay there before us laying right in front of the balcony door. disgusting. The summit took a $200 deposit when checking in and come to find out later that I only received $50 of that back. In the email it said we damaged all the linens and bath mats? when there were in fact no bath mats in either bathroom. Not sure how any linens were damaged when there were adults in our group. not children. I did not bother to respond to the email and just accepted the $50 deposit back as the experience was already a hassle to begin with. We all decided that we will be staying somewhere else moving forward in PCB.
