Esta casa recién enlistada consta de 3 dormitorios y 1 baño, salón-comedor abierto con una cocina totalmente equipada. Porche delantero en la entrada principal. Excelente ubicación en la plaza del pueblo con solo 16 minutos. conducir a la playa más cercana (Sun Bay) y 15 minutos en coche desde el aeropuerto. A poca distancia del banco local, cajero automático, estación de correo, farmacia, minimercados, restaurantes y terminal de ferry. Otras playas de arena blanca son solo 16-18 minutos. conducir en coche desde la plaza del pueblo. Se proporcionan sillas de playa y barbacoa de carbón.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The location with very convenient and within walking distance to the ferry and fabulous restaurants. Although there was no AC in the main living/kitchen area, we were very grateful for the very cool AC units in the bedrooms. We enjoyed people watching from the balcony at night, and the locals were very friendly. There was a convenient grocery store right next door, but they do start working early, so be prepared for some early morning rising :)The breakfast place "Rising Roost" was a few doors down and absolutely delicious, as was "El Norte" down by the ferry! The food in Vieques was amazing!There was plenty of parking on the street and the check in process was nice and easy. Our host was great at communicating and making sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again :)

Had a great stay, very easy to get too from ferry, walking distance. Easy check in and out, host was great at getting back to us fast when we had questions or concerns. My only complaint is the grocery store next door has a garage door access on the 2nd story, no privacy between them and the patio. Not a deal breaker for us, but should be aware. Great beach gear and blender was perfect for drinks.

Great for a group, central location

Spacious, right next to a grocery store and walkable to the ferry and sea glass beach. Good AC in the bedrooms, comfy beds. Beach gear was a plus! It was a bit loud in the morning , we brought earplugs, and no AC in the living room. The porch was breezy though and that made up for it. Thank you for a nice stay!

Great Experience

We had a wonderful time on the island. The house was in a great location close to lots of restaurants and stores. We enjoyed the balcony every night we stayed and had the best time! Highly recommend

Great Location for getting to know Vieques

It was our first time visiting and staying on the island and picking a place downtown was a great first step. We were close to the ferry, a few markets, brunch and dinner places all in walking distance. Set up was perfect for a couple of couples or group of friends. Clean and tidy, great lay out and a few creature comforts (well working AC gets a huge shout out), had everything we needed and the host was nearby and friendly. Getting in and out was a breeze.Parking was on street but plenty of opportunities. Only negative would be there is a busy market next door that starts up pretty early (530-600am was the wake up time) so be prepared to be early risers. Worked fine for us, but I would not recommend it if you have kids or light sleepers.

Great Host and Great Location

We came on a Girl Scout trip and wished we had stayed longer! Such an amazing location and property. The host was fantastic with communication and never left us worried or confused. Great property, great host, and stunning island. I can't wait to return and highly recommend this VRBO to anyone. All of my girls highly rate this VRBO.

Great place!!

The owner was very communicative and flexible with our group. The house is more of a downtown home and you will need to take a taxi to the southern part of the island to get the super good beaches. It had a wonderful small beach within walking distance as well. Extra blankets and towels with chairs. It had everything we needed and more. We brought a bunch of food from the main land. There is literally a grocery store next door that’s reasonable. I wouldn’t take more than snacks. Wonderful stay!! Will be back again!!

Family Trip

Eulogio was very responsive to my messages, very kind host. The area wasn't what we really expected. We had to drive about 20is minutes to get to the beach, so it wasn't as close as expected - being a smaller island. The house was located in the middle of a cute small town, so it did get pretty loud, especially from midnight - 3AM. I had read that before hand, so we were prepared. The building is a bit older than expected and the interior was too. I wish it had another bathroom, but we made it work. The one thing that caught us off guard is the air conditioning. There is only AC in the bedrooms. The living room, hall and kitchen do not. It was extremely, extremely hot so we had to sit outside more then half the time when we were home. We cooked a few times, and it got even hotter, so I wouldn't recommend cooking if you are staying there. It is located near a market place which was very useful! However, the balcony (which was amazing), is very close to where the market supply warehouse opens it's sliding doors, so you hear it very early in the morning and at night. This home is located really close to the ferry, which was helpful and I loved the sounds of the roosters early in the morning. It was very special. The house is also equipped with beach chairs, beach towels and floats!

Great guesthouse!

We stayed for 2 nights in Vieques. Location was fantastic and within walking distance to the ferry and to restaurants and shops. As per the listing, this location is within the downtown so you do easily hear noises outside, especially around 6am when the grocery store opens. Just bring ear plugs or white noise and it’ll be fine. Very clean house, excellent communication with host. AC in each bedroom and fans in the main living area. Would definitely stay here again!

Great property and location!

We loved our stay here! Great location close to the beach, grocery store, and places to eat. The street is bustling during the day but is quiet by 10 PM at the latest. We never had any trouble with the noise when putting our 3 boys to bed. The locals are wonderful. House is well furnished and has all the beach chairs and other beach stuff you need. On street parking is more than ample even during the day. A/C worked great. Will definitely stay here next time we are in Vieques.

I was born and raised in Vieques, Puerto Rico. I am a professional Industrial Engineer and entrepreneur in the business of renting properties. I enjoy sports (baseball is my absolute favorite) and am dedicated to the lifestyle of physical fitness. I also take a keen interest in reading about political science, mathematics and history. My time is mostly spent taking care of my engineering responsibilities, business properties, my family -including my daughter's two cats- and indulging on a glass of Shiraz more than every once in a while. My goal is to provide my guests a locally owned, comfortable place where they feel contented during their stay in Vieques.

This property was originally purchased by my parents in 1975.
After purchasing the property from my parents in 1999, I became the second generation owning this property. The original structure was turned into a two story building by 2000. As a native from Vieques (born and raised) the continuity and presence in local business/ economy is very important for my family. It is the front of the efforts and work of a local entrepreneur to have the opportunity to contribute to our economy and businesses. We do and prepare our business with pride so our clients feel proud as well when supporting us.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

This property is located in the capital (Isabel II) of the island (downtown). It is right by various restaurants, the postal office, bank, supermarkets, town plaza, scooters rental, etc. Access to public transportation is easy. The house is about a ten minute walk from the ferry terminal. Beaches are about a fifteen minutes driving. New air conditioning units and affordable space for the comfort of the guests. We have planned to provide our guests with all the necessities for a comfortable stay. You will be in the main street of the island; have a taste on how life is on the Isla Nena (Vieques).
