Welcome to Driftwood House! Located in a quiet family and pet-friendly neighborhood east of Route 1 and close to both Lewes and Rehoboth Beach, you can drive to Cape Henlopen or Lewes beach in 9 minutes. The neighborhood sits behind the Midway shopping center, directly across Route 1 from the Surfside Outlets. Walk to shopping, multiple excellent restaurants, ice cream, or ride the go-karts at the Speedway. The Junction and Breakwater Trail is just 2 miles away, with easy access via bike or hike. The newly renovated home features cozy and inviting Scandinavian Beach decor, 3 generous bedrooms sleeping 8 guests, and two full baths. Linens are provided, along with a gourmet kitchen (and gas bbq) and an open living area perfect for gatherings. Enjoy your coffee in the screen porch, and let your dog romp in the huge fenced-in yard. Play cornhole, badminton, and volleyball in the backyard. Rinse off after a day at the beach in the outdoor shower. We pride ourselves on offering a safe, clean, welcoming vacation home experience. Your hosts truly love this home and the Lewes/Rehoboth Beach area and all it offers, and we want you to love it just as much. We will be a resource for all your questions, and available for all your needs during your stay. Welcome home!

Great Vacation

Family loved it! Great location central to Lewes and Rehoboth. Dogs loved the yard. Owners were very nice and responded quickly to any questions.

Great spot!

Had a great visit with friends, and was in such a centralized location. Loved having a quick drive to Dewey and Lewes, and the property was perfect. Had our 2 dogs with us, and we had plenty of space for them and our friends. Would love to stay here again!

Great location and amenities

Loved the decor and layout of the house. The fenced in yard and backyard were really nice too for our dogs. Great location - restaurants, beaches, shopping are all very close. Loved that they had shampoo/cond, cooking supplies etc. already there.

Amazing

Our weekend was amazing, 5 of us girlfriends stayed. The house was Awesome, clean, maintained and stocked with everything that you need. The location is close to shopping, grocery stores & restaurants. We had no issues. Check in and check out was perfect. We are looking forward to making this a yearly friends getaway.

Really impressed by this beautiful home. Spacious, clean, beautifully decorated. Very well equipped, contemporary kitchen with modern appliances and large dining table. Modern bathrooms, generous number of towels, nice laundry pair. Sweet fenced yard, enjoyed sitting outside on Adirondack chairs. Convenient to grocery. Hope to stay here again someday.

Can’t wait to go back!

The property was clean and extremely well appointed- had everything we needed (and more!) for our family of 4. The decor was lovely and we especially loved playing board games on the porch while enjoying some family time in the evening. The owners of the property thought of everything! The drive to Rehoboth Beach took us about 20 minutes each day with traffic. We love Rehoboth and can’t wait to return again next year. I hope this property is available on the dates we return to Rehoboth next summer. Thank you for sharing your home with us:)

Hidden Treasure

We came upon the hidden treasure, when we stumbled onto the Driftwood house on VRBO. The cottage is modest on the outside, but the moment you walk through the front door, you find yourself inside the pages of Architectural Digest. The Driftwood house is positioned half-way between Lewes and Rehoboth beaches, with only a 12 min drive in either direction. This cozy cottage has it all as far as comfort, immaculate cleanliness, gorgeous Scandinavian inspired style and... it is dog-friendly! Our pup loved the fenced-in yard to frolic in. Definitely a winner in my book. Highly recommended for super relaxing family time. Great space, amazing kitchen, comfy beds, Netflix and a coffee shop just 2 minutes away.... We thought we were in heaven! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We absolutely love the location of this home--close to all the things we love to do at the Delaware Beaches: biking the Junction & Breakwater, Lewes-Georgetown, and Henlopen trails. Shopping and great eating on Route 1 and in-town Lewes and Rehoboth Beach. And of course, spending a day lazing on the beach. In our other life, Jess is a Realtor and Jim is a retired police officer who now drives students to and from high school. We love animals (5 furry companions at home), camping, and going to concerts. We are thrilled that you are considering Driftwood house for your perfect Delaware Beach vacation and we hope to help you make the most of your time here!
