MOUNTAIN VIEWS! PRIVATE HOT TUB! Recently remodeled, professionally decorated throughout. Patio & sitting area around the outdoor fireplace. Walking distance to the Hearth House event center, Downtown Monument & locally owned restaurants. A few blocks to Monument lake to enjoy fishing, kayaking, flat boarding or soaking up the sun. Amazing mountain biking is close. Few minutes to the Air Force Academy, quick drive to Colorado Springs, Garden of the Gods, Broadmoor Hotel, Denver and more!

This newly remodeled space has professional design touches throughout so you can feel right at home! Granite counter tops and a fully workable kitchen will meet all your cooking needs. Private office, rec room with games to play. 2 – 50” TV's and one TV in the Master Bedroom. Fenced backyard, private hot tub. Walk out lower level to the back yard. Park across the street. Trailer or RV parking in front of the house and can accommodate 60 feet rigs.

Guest will have full access to the entire home.

The owners live close to the home. If you need something or have questions about the area please reach out to the Co-Host.

The neighborhood has an amazing small town feel, walking distance to Downtown Monument. There are also great mountain views off the front of the property. On Saturdays, there is a local farmers market you can walk to, Many locally owned restaurants and shops within walking distance as well.

We recommend people renting cars for their trip to Monument/Colorado Springs. The town also has bike/kayak/flat board rentals available!

The Sante Fe Trail goes south from Monument to downtown Colorado Springs & north to Greenland Ranch, Spruce Mountain Open Space & Mount Herman all within biking distance from the house. These area will provide some of the best mountain biking, hiking and walking this area has to offer. Locally owner restaurants, pubs and breweries. Please Note the owner is highly allergic to many things including animals. Please do not bring them with you.
No parties, no extra guest without prior approval. No smoking of any kind inside the house.

Beautiful house with spectacular views of the mountains. Walking distance to restaurants. We took full advantage of the hot tub. Host was extremely friendly. We will definitely stay here again on future visits.

Beautiful place, well stocked with necessities. We had 6 there, husband & I and our 4 kids. We had plenty of family space for dining and visiting as well as plenty of space for privacy and quiet times.

Pleasant Stay

The check in process was very easy and without any hiccups. Kevin was very responsive with any messages sent through the app, often within minutes. The property is very clean and sleeps 10 comfortably, It is also a short distance to Monument Lake, which is peaceful and serene. Overall, an excellent stay. Thank you!

Great Stay

We were needing to be close to the Air Force academy, little did we know this would be such a neat little town with great views and fun shops and restaurants to walk to. The owners were great and very responsive.

Stayed here with my groomsmen leading up to my wedding at Pinecrest wedding venue. Great location, easy access, plenty of parking, clean, well cared for space and incredible host! Great communication and easily reached. Had a great time here and would highly recommend!!

Great getaway for a large groul

Tim and Co. were amazing hosts! The house is beautiful and is well-decorated and clean. There were plenty of blankets and pillows, and the fire pit and hot tub and games were awesome. The train tracks are close by, but the hosts did an awesome job helping with the issue by doing the little things- even leaving ear plugs and a sound machine for us! It is close to historic downtown and its restaurants and shops. The Mountain views are great too. Tim was responsive and kind. 10/10 we would stay here again and encourage others to do the same!

Perfect spot for relaxing as a home base!

Excellent communication with host! Very clean with modern amenities which were greatly appreciated! Loved the hot tub to relax in after long days exploring in nearby Colorado Springs. Would love to stay here again when visiting family in the area!

Monument Home

This was a great home close to our daughter’s wedding venue. So convenient and perfect for easy walking access to and from the venue! Also a wonderful park and playground across the street. The home is clean and wonderful for a family get away! We did want to mention there are train tracks across the street with quite a bit of activity. It did not bother us, just a heads up to someone who it might bother. Beautiful views and otherwise very quiet street!

Beautiful Home and Great Location

The home is completely remodeled and extremely clean. There are two living areas which was perfect for our teens that wanted a space to themselves. The walk to the restaurants was beautiful and super close. Highly recommend the Mexican restaurant and ice cream shop. There is also a park nearby that was constantly filled with kids, which was great. The manager was responsive and so nice. Our only wish would be that we were a little further from the train. We are not light sleepers which helped.

Clean, Convenient and Cozy VRBO

We stayed here because we had a wedding at Spruce Mountain. It was conveniently located and offered a lot of space and amenities. Although we weren’t home much to make any meals, etc. it offers a great space for community upstairs and downstairs! The 2 twin beds in the basement are a trundle bed and are short- FYI for taller people.

Great Weekend!

The house was great! We were in Monument to attend a wedding. The venue was less than two blocks from the house. Worked out perfectly. The house was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy a long weekend with our family.

Clean and comfortable

The house was clean and had all the sleeping space we needed. We were pleasantly surprised to have a small Christmas tree set up which made it more homey. Heater was not warming up the bottom floor but we were able to contact the owner and they had a technician take a look. Owner was able to get the heater up and running so that the downstairs could warm up.Overall we enjoyed our stay and I would definitely rebook this place in the future.

Great house for our wedding weekend!

We were in town for a friend's wedding. The house is cute and had everything we needed. Only complaint is that the train comes through multiple times each night, which disturbed our ability to sleep.

Great family vacation

The home was beautiful and very updated. The beds were very comfortable. The town of Monument had a great downtown that was fun to walk through and we were a short drive away from all of the attractions we wanted to do in Colorado Springs. The owners/manager were great with communication, never had any issues. There are active train tracks that run through town, located across the street from the house. It didn’t bother me, but if you’re a light sleeper you may want ear plugs. Overall, a great stay.
