Traveling with my brother and his wife heading around the US. We booked a cruise out of Seattle and needed a place to do laundry and check-out some sites, in Washington, for the week. We were almost to this location for the 4 pm check in-time and ended up having to contact owner for the door code. However, i will say that he did promptly provide the code within minutes of my message. Usually, with all the other vrbo that we have rented, we would get an email the day before of morning of check-in. House was very comfortable and we had did have everything that we needed. The only thing I was confused about was that the master bedroom, with attached bathroom, only had a queen bed and not a king bed. It also had 2 bureaus and large closet and tv. The room with king bed had no place to put our clothes. There were two chairs that took up most of the room. The small closest was unusable due to a thick area rug, which would not allow the door to open. Had to move the chairs to the living room in order to lay our luggage out and get to our clothes. Also, that room had no tv. Third room had queen bed and also had a tv and shared the bathroom with the room with king bed. Very unusual set up! Very nice front and back yard! There is a plum tree with ripped plums that were delicious. Got there at the right time of year! All and all we had a great stay!

Very nice place to stay. Host was great!

Wonderful stay. Would add a shower bench and grab bars in shower so everyone could use them, but otherwise it was awesome.

It was a pleasant stay. Priced right for the accommodations. Host was very responsive. Full garbage outside but provided an empty container next day. Place could use some hot pads for cooking needs. Toilets are low. No handicap bars. We travel with one but should be noted. Parking only available in driveway. Neighbors use the street parking.

Pros: air conditioning worked great during hot summer days. Place was reasonably clean. Appreciated having ability to do laundry and use the dishwasher. Master bed was surprisingly comfortable (the other two beds were slept on by kids who can sleep anywhere, so I can’t knowledgeably comment on their comfort level).Cons: Nothing in the house matches and it looks like grandma’s super old hand-me-downs or like everything had been purchased at yard sales. Towels, sheets and bedding are really old, threadbare and scratchy. The same goes for all the kitchenware…nothing matches, everything is old. There is one couch in the living room…small and cheap, though newer than anything else in the house…no other living room furniture. The fridge and freezer both had some random food left in them, which we threw out. The walls/ceilings are crazily and sloppily painted random colors. Overall, it was adequate for a weekend where we needed to be close to our family in Terrace Heights, but we wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to friends. It is advertised as a “cozy cabin,” but it is neither cozy nor anything like a cabin.

Our home is presented with full transparency through its listing, and its design reflects a practical, lived-in style rather than a curated or uniform aesthetic. While this may not align with every guest’s personal taste, it is intentionally maintained to offer a clean, functional, and comfortable environment. Regarding the refrigerator, the only items present were basic condiments (mayonnaise and ketchup). While these are sometimes left for guest convenience, we understand preferences vary, and we will review how this is handled moving forward with our cleaning team. We recognize that each guest has different expectations, and we encourage careful review of the listing to ensure the home aligns with individual preferences prior to booking.

Great location close to the Sun Dome
