Cozy Waterfront Home In Portsmouth

Getaway from it all! Come stay at this cozy 2 bedroom/1.5 bath waterfront cottage along the Sakonnet River! This cottage offers a private enclosed yard with direct water access and a hot tub. Enjoy your morning coffee overlooking amazing water views on the screened in back porch. This great cottage comes equipped with 2 kayaks, Life vests, beach chairs and floats.

Both bedrooms have queen beds with flat screen TV’s. In addition, there is a queen size sleeper in Living Room. One of the bedrooms has great water views. Sheets and towels will be provided.

Fully equipped Kitchen includes an electric stove, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher, utensils, plates, glasses, cooking pans and pots- including a Lobster Pot.
It’s a great spot to be away from the hustle and bustle but so close to everything. Less than 10 minutes to the Newport Winery and Newport National Golf Course and 15-20 minutes to downtown Newport as well as the Middletown and Newport beaches.

Great for a couple(s) getaway or family retreat, this cottage home on the water offers all the essentials, amazing water views and great location near all area attractions!

The cottage was so charming! Exactly as shown in the photos. It is in a very quiet neighborhood. It was stocked with everything we needed although we didn’t cook any meals. It is decorated beautifully. The beds were very comfortable. We would have enjoyed a longer stay to truly take advantage of the wonderful outdoor spaces! The pic is from the patio. What a great space! I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again!

Lovely Home

Our long weekend stay in this home was lovely. We spent a fair amount of time enjoying the incredible views from the screened in room, walking along the water to collect sea glass, rocks and memories, sitting outside in the hot tub. The house is cozy, clean, and comfortable, well located near Newport, the casino, the Cliff Walks and beaches. Was pleasantly surprised by the location and feel of the property - as expected on the waterfront next to other houses but was private enough and felt like a get away. Would definitely stay again and the owner is highly responsive. Thanks Harry for sharing this lovely home with us!

Relaxing Holiday

Property was just the right size for our needs. Since it was colder, we couldn't use the lovely outside seating or fire pit. They would have been perfect based on what we saw. It was wonderful looking out the windows at the water and fun to watch the ducks swimming and the seagulls perched on the rocks. The kitchen had all the pots, utensils, and dishes/glasses to allow us to dine as we wanted. The beds were comfortable. The home's furnishings were lovely. I truly appreciated that there was a decorated Christmas tree and other holiday decorations when we arrived. Definitely a home we would consider for future stays.

Beautiful home. Very clean. Very comfortable mattress. They even had coffee in the cupboard! Our family is very sensitive to Febreze so we removed the plug-ins. The view is spectacular and we had a full moon. We walked the beach right the backyard gate! We want to come back again.

Perfect little cottage for a relaxing getaway that’s just a short ride to Newport. Beautifully decorated and comfy. Loved the screened-in-porch overlooking the water. Great spot for enjoying morning sunrise and coffee as well as afternoon and evening cocktails, sunsets and watching boats and wildlife.

This place was perfect for a low key girls weekend. Beautifully decorated, immaculate, cozy. Everything we needed for the weekend. The view in itself is stunning and it’s so peaceful. We are already talking about coming back. Harry was a wonderful host!

Sakonnet Vacation

Cozy Cottage provided us with great place to stay for our Portsmouth vacation. The cottage lived up to the listing, very clean, updated and had everything you would need. The screened in porch, overlooking the river, was by far the best place to have coffee in the morning to watch the sunrise and at nighttime to enjoy cocktails.

Perfect place to relax

The Cozy Cottage was a wonderful place to stay. We enjoyed every day there. It was extremely clean and welcoming. Morning sunrises at the cottage were serene. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could ever need to make a meal. Communication from check in to check out with the owner was top notch.

Amazingly Peaceful

This place is amazing, beautifully decorated immaculate scenery breathtaking. Firepit was lovely with full moon. Nice time to spend with family. Only drawback I see is if you have trouble with stairs. Can’t say enough about this place if u want to getaway and chill this is the place for you On the other hand much to do nearby. TY Harry I will definitely be back

Fantastic cozy home and location

We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at Harry’s place. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The communication with Harry was smooth and prompt, making the booking process hassle-free. He had emailed us all the necessary information to gain access to the house. The space was newly renovated with new kitchen, kitchen appliances, newly painted rooms, new furniture, and more. It was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The amenities provided were top-notch, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect and we enjoyed exploring the area and found plenty of great dining options nearby. Newport Resturant’s and boardwalk was within driving distance. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. We cannot recommend Harry and their property highly enough. Thank you for such a memorable stay—we will definitely be back!

Trip to RI

Very clean and very well decorated. The sun porch looks at the water with wonderful views. The kitchen area is well stocked with equipment for preparing and serving meals. The furniture is comfortable. We did not use the TV so no comment there. WiFi worked well. Easy access to Newport and the Navy facility. Our son graduated from the Naval War College. Local eateries that a plus without the crowds of New Port. We really enjoyed our stay at this facility. Best of the VRBO and B&Bs we have stayed at.

Wonderful Beach Cottage

My Husband and I and our infant son had a wonderful time at the cottage. It was our first time renting a house and we will definitely rent the house again in the future. It has a wonderful kitchen, a wonderful living room area with a big tv, two beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms, a nice screened in porch where you can go out and eat or have coffee in the morning, and a nice outdoor area with a table and fire pit. A beautiful view of the river. It is wonderful that they have a fenced in yard especially with little ones. We loved it all around. The furnishings and decorations were awesome also. Perfect for families with children. We visited fieldstones resteraunt and Anna ds and Grafik coffee company. They were all very close by. The kitchen is also very full and well equipped. They have everything you need.

exceeded expectations

The pictures do not do this place justice. Cute cottage located RIGHT on the water. The screened in porch, with heater, provided protection from the rain and we were able to sit and just listen to the water and the seagulls screeching. Super relaxing. Location is everything. Close to grocery stores and restaurants (all types and all styles). Tons of big fluffy towels and there were even lots of beach towels to use. Outdoor area is amazing with adorondack chairs around a fire pit and a big table to chairs as well. Very very private location but close to everything. Harold the owner proactively communicated and check in through our stay. the place is beautifully decorated, beds and bedding were comfy and the bathrooms were spotless. Couch was comfy with a TV that was easy to use. Even the pull out couch was amazing and the best i ever slept on. The view is perfect and the sunrise was exactly what we needed for our vacation as well.
