We had some difficulties getting into the house but once we got in we could settle. The kitchen was rough with the two burners and one skillet to cook for a family of 7.

Worst Rental Ever

Do not rent this place! From the day I booked it it was difficult getting anyone to communicate with you. When we got there all the furniture in the yard was covered in a layer of dirt and bird poop. The swim spa was full of sand and we had to clean it. After being there less than 24 hours all the sewage backed up. The toilets were overflowing. The showers were flooding. They did send someone out to fix the plumbing issue but for a day and a half we could not use the toilet or the showers. After they got the issue fixed, no one came to clean out the showers. The feces and toilet paper were all over the shower floors. We tried to be understanding and asked for a partial refund, but at that point, the host ghosted us. The host and the owner would not return messages. VRBO also tried contacting them and asking them, but they would not respond to VRBO either. The photos show what the showers looked like when they were flooded and after they were fixed.

Great for large group

Western exposure so morning coffee outside without hot sun was fantastic. Safe swim area for kids because of jetty. No worry about floating down river. Kids loved jumping off dock into this area being able to use dock stairs to get out. Lots of outdoor seating with several palapas for shade. Lots of seating inside house with large living and kitchen areas. Did suggest to host a few additional items for future guests.

Lovely location on the river

This property was a great place to stay with family from out of state, as it was spacious. The location is nice complete with a dock that fits two boats easily. The listing is a tad misleading. The photo makes the property appear to have a beach and/or launch ramp. This is not true. The launch belongs to the neighbors and there is no beach, however there are some nice chairs to sunbathe above the little jetty. The stove in kitchen is only a 2 burners, so it can be a challenge when cooking for a large family. The large BBQ advertised was MIA, and that made it even more challenging to cook for our family (as that was what I was banking on using since it is a big part of their advertisement). There are only 2 bathrooms, NOT the 3 they advertised (another issue when you have multiple guests), and there were zero towels on property or linens for the fold out sofa beds that are listed. Had I known this, I would have packed some. After a couple nights of no showers, I did message the property manager who promptly sent someone to purchase some towels and drop on porch while we were out on the water. The manager stated the owner would refund us a small amount for our inconveniences, however we are still awaiting that refund. I do love this property and even with these hiccups, we would gladly revisit (now that we know the conditions and what to expect), however I do think it is overpriced for what is listed considering the circumstances.

False Advertising

Misleading online advertising. They do not let you use the boat launch or the rooftop balcony. That is not mentioned prior to booking and was one of the main reasons why I wanted to rent this property. Outdoor BBQ does not work. The neighbor was incredibly rude. He was very aggressive towards the women in our group. No early check-in available without paying an excessive fee. I would recommend looking at other nearby properties prior to booking here.

Dock Holiday

The house was great. Very nice and clean. Beautiful river veiws. Easy River access. BBQ was rough and hard to use. Would stay here again no problem

Lake trip

Wow!! This place is amazing. Right on the water we were able to pull our boat right in as water was deep enough. Property was beautiful. We had a party of 10 that slept comfortably. Hanging on the patio in the morning and evening was our favorite and the bbq a plus. We will be back soon!
