This "A-Frame" chalet sits on the bank of the famous White River in Gassville, AR. There is approximately 500 sq. feet downstairs that includes a full kitchen, bathroom with a shower, and a washer and dryer. There is a living room and a futon for an additional bed downstairs. There is 280 sq. feet upstairs that includes a queen bed and two twin beds. Both levels have a 32" flat screen TV with Dish services. There is also a nice outdoor living space with a covered porch and a large deck.
The space
The location is outstanding! Only minutes from a wide variety of dining options such as pizza, barbecue, mexican and several fast food restaurants as well. Mt. Home is just a 15 minute drive with anything you could need. There are also two area lakes for boating and skiing, as well as the Buffalo National River for floating. For those who want a to shop Branson is just over an hour away.

A little piece of Heaven

was an awesome place.I enjoyed the quite and peaceful sunrise and sunsets the birds and otters and trout. the deck was an awesome place to take pictures.

Lovely A-frame home overlooking White River

My husband and I had such a nice stay. There are two air conditions in the house. Which is a blessing because if you know the Arkansas heat- you know why! Comfortable queen bed upstairs (along with two other smaller beds to sleep in if needed) outlets upstairs too and the window at the head of the queen bed looks out to the White River. Shower had good pressure. Steve, the owner, was very easy to communicate with! Fast response time with any questions I had. It’s a quiet area and watching the fog roll in over the lake, from the nice deck, In The evenings, was a perfect way to end the evening. My husband and I also dunked ourselves in the cold water (about 54/56 degrees) at the bottom of the property (the White River) Acts like an ice bath and just had to walk down the stairs to get to it!

Perfect river cabin

This cabin was an ideal get away for our family of 3. It sits directly on the river with breathtaking views from the deck. Our son fished from the bank in the morning and evening while we were able to relax with coffee or beverages close by. The cabin was clean and comfortable with plenty of supplies. The cabin is very close to Gassville and Cotter near restaurants and fishing. Steve was excellent to rent from. He answered every question promptly and the checkin/out process was covered thoroughly. Can wait to return!

We did not want to go home.

Everything was better than we hoped for. The place was absolutely perfect for what we needed which was an easygoing, restful, and fish-full weekend, and this cabin delivered! we have done vacations in the area for over three decades, usually at one of the resorts. But the resorts have become so crowded that it's hard to escape for a moment of privacy and doing the things we love doing together (like catching trout). We can't wait until we can come back again, hopefully sooner rather than later. The deer, eagles, whistle-pig, and variety of birds to watch just add to the ambiance. Tom & Lorrie Faber Ruston, Louisiana PS. Steve, if you ever decide to sell, seriously, holler at me.

A wonderful spot for rest and recharge! The cottage is cozy, and the view is amazing. We saw many deer, a couple of Eagles, bunnies and enjoyed watching the boats on the river. Beautiful scenery.
