Come relax in a charming small town!

Get away from the hustle of the big cities and stay in our cute town. If you want to explore the real side of Florida this is the place for you. You will be close to many popular springs, a short day trip from Cedar Key, Crystal River, and Weeki Wachee. You will find antique shops, local restaurants, and even a quilt museum! Close to grocery stores. You will have an entire 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom to yourself. The kitchen is fully equipped. Drink your coffee on the screen patio. Pet friendly!

My home is a comfortable 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and a private half bath. Down the hall you will find the full size bathroom with tub/shower combo.

The kitchen, and dining room are open concept. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots/pans/utensils/plates/silverware and the basic seasoning and oil. You will have everything you need to make yourself comfortable during your stay!

The patio is screened in to offer protection from the summer bugs. The backyard is fully fenced in and perfect for your furry companions.

This home is equipped with a ring doorbell camera to ensure guest safety.

Great Stay!

We had a wonderful experience at this home. The location was excellent—close to everything we needed—and the house itself was clean & comfortable. Beds are comfortable. For the price, it was definitely a great choice. Would absolutely stay here again! Krista was very accommodating. The neighborhood was quiet. Plenty of parking. Thank you Krista for allowing us to stay at your home!

Family in area

We have stayed here several times before. We have family in the area and there are many things to see and do. The neighborhood is quite, neighbors are friendly, and its close to stores ans restaurants. If you like preparing your own meals the kitchen has most everything you might want. We will return. Krista is great and quick to reply ifvyou have a question.

Basic accommodations mostly as expected

Basically clean except moldy caulk in shower, original windows (need cleaning) with some missing window coverings.

This is a good deal for the price. I do recommend that you bring your own pillows and blankets but overall was a great stay.

Nice House/Great Communication

The house was perfect for what we needed. We were staying for the weekend to attend a livestock event in Fanning Springs. The owner was easy to communicate with, the house is on a secluded street and the backyard has a large secured fence.

Great place if you are traveling with your furbaby!

Overall, this was a nice place to stay. We chose it because it was central to the places we wanted to visit. Great (privacy) fenced in yard for the pup!*Not a ding on the property, just an FYI: if you are diving, there are no dive shops close by, but you can reach various locations within 30-45 minutes for many, some are an hour. Do your research about distances to places to visit.*Definitely recommend you bring blankets and pillows if you need them. The provided pillows are rather flat & the listing is accurate: bedsheets provided. If you're used to staying in places with a lot of amenities, you may be disappointed. We appreciated the minimalist nature of the place *If you have back issues, the beds are not good for a long-term stay.*The screened in back porch was great for relaxing & the neighbors are quiet. If you listen, you'll hear roosters down the street, usually in the afternoon!*It was great to have access to a washer & dryer! *If you have a group of more than 2, consider bringing towels (only 3 were provided) & extra toilet paper, & be aware that dishes are for 4 people (4 plates, etc.). Plenty of silverware & glasses.*If you have TV watchers in your group, you can't beat the options here!Overall, a good place for the money! Quiet family vacation

We came to visit family staying in Cheifland. Location was easy to get to in a family neighborhood. House was clean and spacious. Had everything we needed to enjoy relaxing family time. Host was responsive to any questions we had. Definitely would choose this location again if back in the area.

The property was exactly as described. Very clean, and well stocked with anything that you may need for your stay. Krista was very quick to respond to my messages, if I had questions. The neighborhood was nice, and neighbors were friendly. We will definitely be back in the future.

Chiefland FL lovely home

The home is very neat and clean. Everything was provided that you would need or want on vacation. The place has a nice comfortable feeling. The host was very pleasant to communicate with. The smart lock system made it very easy access.we will be returning here in the future

Very nice vacation

We had a very nice visit over Thanksgiving holiday. The home was clean and comfortable. Being close to everything was great. Got to visit with family in the area. Would stay again if in the area.

Stepping Stone to the West

Needed a place to stay that was close to Manatee Springs and this really fit the bill. We ended up exploring up to Steinhatchee and Suwanee and down to Cedar Key. The house was right in the middle and was easy access to the main roads. The house was as described and amazingly clean. Will definitely use it again for excursions to the west coast.

Very nice house, close to everything

The stay was very good. Owner was great at communication, and very helpful. A few suggestions would be some thicker pillows and a variety such as memory foam. Maybe a mattress upgrade in the master suite. The house was very nicely renovated. I would stay here again without hesitation. I asked to extend a night and the owner quickly accommodated.

Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay in in this location in Chiefland March 2024. Great communication with host. Very convenient location to shoot off and visit one of many springs nearby (Fanning, Manatee, Crystal River, ect). Very easy drive to Cedar Key. We had a lovely family meal in the well appointed kitchen (had everything we needed). We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. We will be back!

Very clean property

We were very comfortable and pleased how clean and inviting this property was. Our host was very quick to respond to any questions we had. The kitchen was well equipped with quality appliances, pots, pans and dishes. The Keurig coffee pods were appreciated to get us started.
