Appreciation

Pleasure started with Tracy warmly letting us in. The place is immaculately clean, furnished with every thing we can use during our stay. Nice ocean breezes with sounds and sights of the Pacific made the stay memorable for life!

The location was great walking distance to restaurants and easy to get in and out of when exploring the island. We love the lagoon side of the building. Ocean views and quiet.

The condo is a bit dated, but considering the reasonable price for being right on the water, pretty much what I expected, and clean. Happily surprised at the supplies they provided, including laundry pods!And though we didn't use any, there were lots of ocean/pool "toys", for those who like to pack light.My husband and I would definitely stay in this location again!

Pleasant stay in convenient location

Very nice day, nice and simple nothing fancy. Great view from the balcony. A little, musty, smelling, likely because the carpet but still very nice. We really enjoyed our stay!

Nice condo!

Enjoyed sitting in the lanai and listening to the waves. At times noise from the construction was bothersome but overall good stay. Tracy (property manager) was responsive and helpful!

Highly recommend!

Everything about this place was perfect. The property manager was wonderful to work with and the condo itself was clean and had everything we could possibly need. Not to mention a wonderful view from the lanai! We will definitely be returning hopefully very soon!

Clean one bedroom with a view

Very nice rental. The view was amazing. We had breakfast on the balcony every morning. Only negative item was a scaffolding set up on the units next door.

I saw a few bugs that looked roaches when I arrived but none after that.

Over stay was great and the place was very nice and a great location. The guy that came to clean was pleasant.

This property was phenomenal. The waves was relaxing and lulled you to sleep. No need for a/c just the fresh ocean air. Walking distance to shops and dining. Easy access when exploring by car. Tracy was a great host, always there when you needed to just chat. I highly recommend this safe and convenient condo. Mahalo and Aloha

Great place

Fantastic location a few minutes' walk into town, lovely view of the ocean without it being directly west, you can look to the right and see the mountain in the morning. It was exactly like it looks in the pictures but there's a new non-carpet floor now. Furniture clean and comfy, new memory foam on the bed. Nice welcome bag of coffee beans, there is a grinder! Only gripe was no soap pod for the dishwasher and no dustpan.

HALE KONA KAI 211 - A DREAM CONDO

Perfect location and the condo was clean, easy to access and close to town. Well stocked kitchen (dishes, cookware, etc.). Our only decision each day was 'pool' (overlooks the ocean!) or 'lagoon' (steps from condo, lanai actually overlooks it). Complex is small (about 36 units), exterior in good shape with active maintenance to maintain it which we found encouraging. Booked direct with Kona Beach Properties - Tracy and Tiana were WONDERFUL! We plan to return same time next year - booked and excited.

Location!

Location is excellent. We were able to walk to the town of Kona, had great restaurants and a swap meet where we were able to pick up souvenirs at a great price. Condo was extremely clean. Loved the fact that there is a key box outside the door so you are able to keep a key in there. This helped when leaving the key in the condo. Air conditioning was welcome and worked great. If owners are looking to change anything , I would recommend to change out the toilet for a taller one. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. View was great! We were able to see many whales from the balcony.

Outdated unit

Unit was clean, however severely needed new flooring, carpet and bathroom fixtures. The unit smelled musty - maybe from the carpet. Doors need replacing, bathroom sink counter was sloping, mattress was old. Patio furniture was worn and uncomfortable. Property manager was excellent and helpful, however he couldn't do much about the issues with the unit. I understand the unit has been sold and will no longer be in the rental market. We were the just the unlucky ones to be the last occupants.
