First timers to Port Lavaca

We had an amazing stay! The house was clean and bed was comfortable. House had all amenities and Pier fishing was fun l.we caught some trout and a giant redfish (or something) that pulled the line. We def want to go back.

So Peaceful - A Quiet Place to Recharge

Lovely, quiet cottage out in the country sitting on the bay - a wonderful place to listen to the waves and watch the sun rise. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to people looking for peace and quiet.

A stay on the bay

Perfect Get Away

We had a great time. Pier was perfect, weather not so much. Windy and rough but we were still able to catch a ton of fish. The sheets on the queen bed were the softest best smelling sheets I have ever slept on. House had everything you could want. Host was very responsive when asked questions. Will definitely be back.

Great place!!!

Excellent place to stay!! Very clean and tidy. The place had everything we needed. We ended up not taking our dogs, but I do like that it was a dog friendly place. Neighbors were friendly. Overall-will definitely be looking to come back!!

Quiet Bayfront stay

The private pier was awesome, we used it mostly for fishing but it was also nice for just relaxing. We caught trout, catfish, and alligator gar. A very quiet and friendly neighborhood. We hope to return. Hosts were very nice to work with.

We had a great mini vacation and we will definitely be back.

We fished on the pier day / night and awesome fishing at night with the lights. The biggest catch was a black drum off the pier about 40 pounds and lots of speckle trout, gaftop, whitey, sand-trout, red fish, black drum in the area. We had a blast and you have a great set-up. The Bueno Family 💕

Long weekend with friends

Enjoyed sitting under the gazebo in the evenings enjoying a glass of wine and listening to the sound of the waves while the men fished from pier. It doesn’t get much more relaxing than that! The house was very well stocked with all the necessities from kitchen staples to linens. We look forward to returning!

Labor Day Weekend Getaway

Our stay was great, fishing and relaxing was the key to our weekend getaway. This house had everything you needed & wanted except for bed in the main bedroom and the shower were alittle small. Living room and kitchen had plenty of room to move around in. The patio was a nice place to take a nap and relax; the fishing pier was great. The speckled trout and drum were delicious, the red fish would have been perfect but it got away. Thank you for everything.

Our trip

This a an amazing place, the owners are very responsive. I liked everything about it. It was perfect for my two kiddos and myself. The fishing was outstanding. I caught a 30 lb black drum. The house is in a great location and close enough for whatever you want to do. I’ll definitely use this house again!

Exceptional Bayfront Stay

This bayfront home was everything we needed and expected! The kids had a blast fishing off the lighted pier and caught several species of fish including black drum, trout, lady fish and even a stingray. The house was cozy and felt very homey. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again next time we are in the area. Leslie was a wonderful host and was very easy to communicate with. Thanks Leslie for having us at your Bayfront oasis!!

Great spot to relax and fish!

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful home, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. The house was impeccably clean and provided a stunning view that made each day a joy. It was well-equipped with all the essentials I needed, making my stay comfortable and convenient. One of the highlights was the private fishing pier. It offered a great spot to relax and enjoy some fishing, which was a fantastic addition to my stay. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway. I would love to come back in November! My teenage kids loved it!
