It's Baaacckk! The original Banana Cabana is now known as Lazy Parrott and it is still a beautiful, Gulf front home with a PRIVATE pool! It will accommodate up to 10 people.

First let me tell all of you that read these things - this lady was denied by VRBO any of her requested 50% back - yep after not hearing one single complaint "while she was here" she demanded 50% refund upon her return home. So I will reply to each and every of her issues. Literally the minute we received this complaint me and 2 other ladies from my office went straight to this house. There was not a "loose stair tread" there was a small piece of thresh hold that had come unglued and was fixed easily, immediately. There was one rusty hinge on a door leading into the laundry room that was still 100% functional. There is a chance there was some sand in a throw rug. I will admit that - but I don't think there was sand in the bedsheets because one would assume if that were the case, she would request cleans sheets be delivered - she did not. Her complaints of cleanliness cannot be validated because we were never given the chance to "come and see" her evidence. If there were dead bugs, they died during her stay. We tested all of the showers and all drained properly. We were aware of one oven not working and she was aware of this and there are 2 ovens in the kitchen. We were waiting on a part. The dryer vent could have had fluff on it - an easy fix. As for all of her big, scary words about mold, there was a little bit around TWO AC vents that was easily cloroxed away. It is south Alabama and humid as all get out. A little bit of mold happens. Pool decks and beach walks "do have splinters" - that was a "right of passage" when I grew up - getting splinters; wear flip flops or pool shoes. This house is a very nice house and a very popular house. I stand by my advertising. As I stated earlier, we never heard a peep from this guest until she returned home and demanded 50% of her money back. VRBO denied her claim and having been in this business for 35 years I just see a bitter, mean person that maybe could not afford this caliber of home and was having "renter regret."
