Fish Hook - Cozy cabin tucked in the mountains

Fishhook is family-friendly, with a comfy queen bed in the master bedroom, a bunk bed set, and a third single bed in the second bedroom. A pull-out couch provides a 6th sleeping accommodation. Two full bathrooms are available for up to 4 adults and 2 children. Fishhook sits at a more private end of the resort, away from traffic noise. There are three parking spots and a private side yard. In addition, a trail down the embankment to the river provides secluded access to the beauty of the Elk River. Bring your lawn chairs and fish, or just enjoy the peace and privacy.

Dogs are welcome in this cabin!

Beautiful Cabin

Beautiful cabin in a wonderful area with a gorgeous view... the only complaint would be the beds were kind of dated and my old ass slept pretty uncomfortably but other then that cant complain

Great cozy cabin!

We visited in March and loved the price compared to other options closer to steamboat. The cabin was the perfect size for our family of four. It was like a 90s throwback but in the best way possible. Cabin was SO clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Appreciated that we could bring our furry family members too. Great spot with access to everything.

Magical Elk River Valley

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was terrific to return after an absence of 18 years, our last reunion near our former ranch. The cabin was clean, inviting and exactly what we needed! (But I did not like the view to the new school building next door--it's too institutional!) Otherwise--everyone was so kind and helpful, especially Derek, Toni, Kelsey (sp) and the flower lady (forget her name). We went horseback riding, kayaking on Pearl Lake, fly fishing, swimming, played tennis and volleyball--unfortunately, we didn't have enough time!! The only disappointment was the shortened hours for the Tavern! If we could, we would come again, but our family is too spread out. I love the Elk River Valley and the Steamboat area!!!

Ski Trip to Steamboat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in the Fishhook Cabin at Glen Eden, which was perfect for our family group of 4 people. The staff at the resort ensured that we had all the information we needed in advance of our arrival and the cabin was cozy through snowy days. We cooked all 5 nights in the cabin, and the kitchen was well outfitted (sharper knives would have made working in the kitchen even better). Would definitely stay there again on a future visit. It's about a half hour to Steamboat itself, but we appreciate the quiet and the surrounding views.

We brought charcoal but didn't need it since there was a gas grill. The kitchen had all that you could want except for a spatula to flip our grilled burgers and a shot-glass. Ha!
