Family Vacay 2023

Property was clean and big enough for all of our beach gear inside without being crowded. View is amazing and patio is giant. Master bed is big and comfy and had extra pillows and blankets for our kids to sleep on couch beds in living room. We cooked all our meals and it had everything we needed. Loved having the washer/dryer in unit! Would stay here again.

4 day Padre stay

The condo definitely needs some TLC. Windows poor visibility due to hard hard water damage to glass, several light bulbs burned out. There was no coffee, even to start first morning, no condiments except small pepper, mo hot psds. Water pressure poor and showers warm at best. Location is great but would not recommend.

Great location

This condo had a great location, right over the bridge. Pools and beach access were very nice! Could use some updating to inside of the condo, no outlet plate that we had to block with a table due to having our kids and exposed wires. Master tv remote didn’t work, two of the patio chairs were broken/ unusable and couches are only comfortable for kids to sleep on. Couple other small issues that we looked past. Overall the amenities with the property and good price were worth it for us!

Needs a lot of work

This property was clean but has a few issues for the money! Water dripping from shower the whole time in master bathroom. Vents really old and needs replacing through out condo. Secondary bathroom shower does not work at all. Looks like water is completely turned off to the shower. Wished would have been told this. Never could watch tv in bedroom due to no signal even after batteries were replaced. Furniture in living room was not quality at all for the money I spent. I was very disappointed in this property would not stay here again.

Literally simple Maintenance and cleaning goes a long way

Once arriving we were excited from the outside appearance of the building then we came to the door. Firt and foremost, the lock on this unit needs help. There were several times that we were standing outside repeatedly trying to get the keypad to function. Once going in we were hit with a stench that wasnt great. The kitchen overhead light is literally broken, theres a big gapping hole. The smoke alarm was hanging off the wall, one of the "sleeper couches" was slanting on one side due to be broken and the matching chair had the same problem. Idk who would sleep on those. The vents throughout the place were gross and the furnace area needed to be cleaned out really bad! The furniture cushions on the balcony appeared to be moldy and just super out dated.The shower cutain in the main bathroom had black mold on it, to me that should be changed out just like sheets. If i was a betting gal I would say the mat in front of the shower wasnt cleaned. The towels are older and strings dangling, plus just go white not grey, that way you can bleach. The back of the dryer had a part missing so if your not careful you will lose smaller items if you dont stick your hand in there and fish out your stuff.I contacted the host and told her about the key pad she did offer us a 3 bed with no view. We didnt take it, the issues werent going to stop us from at least having a view. Who knows what the other place looked like anyway. Simple maintenance and cleaning is needed!

A nice and reasonably priced property. Great views. As a first time VRBO rented, I was pleased with the ease in checkin and checkout. I highly recommend.

Great Stay!

Property is a little older than I expected but overall was well taken care of. It had everything we needed. The views were great. The windows need to cleaned they were a little cloudy, which was a somewhat decieving from listing pictue. Also the couches in the living room are more like futons than pull-out beds, but still comfortable. Overall I was pleased. The owners were very nice, and the checkin-and out process was so easy!

Nice condo-great location

My fiance- now wife- stayed at Saida 3126 for 3 nights. The condo had a great view- top floor looking over the pools and tennis courts out to the gulf. We saw an incredible sunrise. The location is great- just down from the causeway. The condo was quiet and had all the amenities needed- wifi, cooking and cleaning, and towels. The condom itself was in slightly used condition but clean and quiet. The property was secure and well staffed. I will definitely stay here again.

Great Spot

Originally booked 1-bedroom condo. When we couldn't get the keypad to work, manager upgraded us to a 2 bedroom unit. Views are fantastic. Everything you need is there in terms of kitchen, bathroom, etc. Cable, Smart Tvs, Wifi all worked well. Whole building, and this unit, is somewhat dated but a great location, nice pool, right next to beach. Solid all around. Definitely recommend.

We love South Padre Island

I felt that overall it was a great week and understand the high volume of bookings and things get missed. The air filters in the ac unit were terribly dirty, the shower in the bedroom never got hot and the other bath had hot water but slow coming out. We will return but probably will pock a different condo to rent.

Nice beach, nice pool, just an ok condo

The beach and pool were great. The condo itself was good but had potential to be so much better with a few tweaks. It is worth mentioning that we typically stay at another Texas beach and have become quite spoiled there. We decided to do something different and found this condo for a reasonable price. The building is an older building so some where and tear was to be expected. We arrived and found a nicely renovated kitchen. Upon opening the dishwasher we found there to be several inches of stinky water in the bottom. The appliances work but aren’t great. The couches are old and one of are guest found it more comfortable to sleep on the couch rather than using the actual couch bed. The kitchen provides the most basic items. You will definitely want to bring extra Tupperware or bags if you need temporary storage. The bathrooms had nice cabinets and counter tops but the showers appeared to be the original ones with pealing pieces and terrible flow... the master bathtub could only be used as a shower. The view from the balcony was truly amazing. Unfortunately the chairs were old, moldy and one was broke. In short I would return to this resort, but would probably spend a little more and pick a different rental. It appeared that the owners lacked a level of pride and were unwilling to take full advantage of making using the potential to make this a truly great rental.

Perfecr family getaway!

We'd had a fabulous time and Criss was very responsive to the small items that needed attention. Light bulbs went out and batteries were dead but she was on top of it and checked on us many times! The newly remodeled place was perfect for our family. A few items need updating but overall we were pleased and it's so convenient to the pool And beach! We,over that we're chairs and board provided! We will be back!

This is an amazing condo with awesome beachfront views!

Very clean condo with beachfront views through your living room windows and master bedroom. It worked perfectly for our family of 5. Condo comes fully furnished with everything you need for a pleasant stay. We really have no complaints. The owners are super friendly and extremely helpful. We will definitely be referring our friends and hope to come back one day!

Perfect location for a relaxing break! Walks on the beach, dips in the pool and hot tub.

My wife and I booked this unit at the last minute, and were very pleased with our choice. This top floor condo is very roomy and two full baths make it so convenient, even for just the two of us. The condo was clean and updated with granite counters, large TVs, and comfortable furniture and bed, even the balcony seating was comfy. The check-in was easy. The key pad door lock was really great, no keys to carry when we headed to the pool and beach. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks Chris for the quick response and follow-up.

Amazing

My husband & I stayed here for our honeymoon & quickly realized we could have brought our four kids with us and still had more than enough room. The view is absolutely breathtaking! This condo has everything you could possibly need for your stay to be comfortable. I have already recommended it to several people.

The condo was great and the view was beautiful! One of the best rentals we have ever had on South Padre! Chriss and Andy were great to work with and took care of everything we needed! The condo had everything we needed for our stay! We will definitely book again! Thanks for a great vacation!

Old, NOT newly remodeled, Worn out and dirty

After reading the positive reviews for this condo and feeling pretty good about our choice, we were very disappointed when we arrived to find the mediocre condition of this condo. Yes, it is large, Yes, the view is very nice, Yes, it is nice to be on the top floor and the location is great. BUT, those things did not cancel out the general condition of the condo. The master had dirty, stained curtains and lamp shades, the comforter was ripped on the underside, the sheets were less than paper thin. The sofa cushions were so worn out, that one could hardly get back up off the sofa. The kitchen did not have complete silverware, only 3 spreading knives, NO plastic cups (to take to the beach) and the cabinets were dirty and sticky. The worst was the condition of the tile floors in some areas, the grout was absolutely black and greasy, especially in the bathrooms. You could tell that the grout in the entire condo had once been white. GROSS!!! The Wi-Fi worked fine as well as the TV and the AC, but the general condition was old and worn out. Mirrors in poor condition. Return grates were rusty and peeling, as well as the shower curtain rods. And, although, this was not under management control-----the elevators were the smelliest I have ever been on. Disgusting. We were so disappointed, but did not feel we had any options for other lodging. A positive was the extremely helpful calls to Criss at the management company when we told her the toilet roll holders were falling off the walls and the microwave air vent kept falling off, She sent someone over immediately to make those repairs. And when I asked about the beach chairs and umbrella that I was told were available, Criss again, sent those over immediately. We were thankful for that. In general, the entire condo needs an overhaul of higher quality. We would NOT rent this property again.

My short stay

I arrived not really knowing what to expect. Walking in I noticed the large space. It was so clean and welcoming. I instantly felt at ease. Also, I felt safe with the security and gate protection. The large kitchen which was stocked made it easy to cook and wake up eager to start the day. It was luxury at its best. I can also admit having someone to call anytime I needed anything was great. Thank you Chris for making our family short stay wonderful. I will definitely reserve a longer stay next time to better enjoy the great pools and tennis court. Thanks again!
