This stunning newly remodeled from top to bottom bay house in Jamaica Beach boast breathtaking sunsets and sunrises, as well as, canal living. Enjoy both fishing and crabbing from the back yard, or go fishing in the bay with your boat. Adults and kids even love playing in the canal on the provided kayaks, or swimming. If you would like to go to the beach, our community has drive on beaches too! No need to carry everything to the beach, when you can drive on with your car/truck or rentable golf carts. Enjoy listening to the calls of sea gulls, or watching the pelicans flying from bay to beach (or in the evenings the reverse). Feel all your stress wash away at Our Happy Place!

Both the interior and exterior of Our Happy Place has been given special attention for a peaceful and fun getaway with beach decor and light airy colors.

Located just 11 miles from the Seawall Blvd in Galveston. Our community has several restaurants, bars, coffee house, grocery store, etc.

• Chef’s Kitchen: Spacious, modern kitchen comes with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops with breakfast bar (with granite waterfall edge) that sits 7-8 people. For those coffee lovers, we offer Ke-urig K-Duo Single Serve K-Cup Pod and 12 Cup Carafe Brewer. Kitchen comes fully stocked.
• Living Room: Leather couch, love seat, and oversized chair (+ 3 ottomans). 55” 4K Smart HDTV (most streaming apps available with your subscription). WiFi included.
• Game Room: With shuffleboard, couch and chairs and large 60” 4K Smart HDTV (most streaming apps available with your subscription). WiFi included. Perfect for the kids, or young at heart adults.
• Bedroom #1: King Size (sleeps 2-3)

No pets of any kind. There are plenty of other rentals that allow pets, but we do not!

It is a rarity, but service can be unreliable on Galveston Island. We apologize, but we cannot guarantee that these amenities will be working during your stay. We are unable to offer refunds for disruption to these services.
