And if you're in the mood for some activity, there are plenty of outdoor options, from basketball courts to playgrounds. Plus, we have one of the best skate parks in the area - perfect for adrenaline junkies!

I was told there was a leak in hot water heater only was told one hour before that Plummer was coming ..he was early . then I was told the hot water heater needs to be replaced. Then I was told I was going to be out of hot water for 2 to 3 hours so we all had to hurry up and take showers and get ready before he replaced the hot water heater so my relaxation day was ruined.nice house but it could use a little updating

beach trip 2025

We’ve been coming to Assateague for 20 years. Ocean Pines is our favorite neighborhood. We loved this house / property on this trip. Being tucked away but still close to everything is so nice. It’s quiet and family friendly. The host was super responsive and helpful throughout the entire process and we would absolutely stay here again!

Nice area but horrible management company.

Great location but when we got there the fridge was all the way up and wasn't even cold. I contacted someone right away, it took 2 days to send someone out to measure and then the fridge wasn't replaced until Saturday, the day before we left. We had to keep freezing water bottles to keep everything cold, we counted on a fridge being there so we didn't bring bigger coolers. We were credited 100 for the inconvenience but it was handled very unprofessionally; we could've stayed at a much nicer place for the price we paid and had the fridge replaced that same day. The 'handyman' that replaced the fridge left a mess in the kitchen. They didn't clean the area when they took the old fridge out and drug dirt all over the kitchen floor and the dining room, so we were left to clean that up, see photos. I hope future guests don't have any problems with their stay, we will not be renting from this company again.

Nice house

House is dated but overall very well stocked and good for a long weekend stay. Very convenient location to beaches and boardwalks. Enjoyed our time here.

Location was perfect. House is very quaint unfortunately with them allowing dogs and the house having carpet it smelled like wet dog inside wasn’t nothing to do with the house being dirty. Just carpet and dogs don’t mix. Too many irresponsible dog owners left all their dogs poop around the whole perimeter of the house. Had to use a rake in the basement to rake a path around the house so I would not step in it when I was letting my dogs go out to go to the bathroom

Great little house in the woods. Had a wonderful stay. Our host Zac was super awesome!

Few things to know

1) The outside garbage cans were full with garbage. Some of the cans are for recycle but they had garbage in them. The instructions to put cans at curb on Monday and Wednesday night for Tuesday and Thursday pickup not clear as the property is on the corner of 2 streets. The pickup on Tuesday never happened. 2) The master bedroom is on upper level for 2 and master bathroom. The lower level has the other bedrooms and second bathroom. The shower in second bathroom has a very, very high step up into shower. Could be dangerous to get in/out of shower. 3) Have hundreds of TV channels, but could not find anything local. All in all, I like the place and would go again. But would be nice if they got garbage under control.

A quiet stay in the Pines

The house had all the basics. The house was musty when we entered, but we found and turned on the dehumidifier and that resolved the smell. Great neighborhood.

My stay

This booking met my needs, however found dirty utensil’s, mouse droppings in pots in cabinet, and i believe this unit could use an experianced maintenance person to complete some of needed work. Yard was overwelmed with tree debree.

Interesting development

Nice but needs a few things. Lamps. No bedside reading lamp? Needed in living room, dining room. A small table and chair would be nice in bedroom. A bedside clock ? Bath mats needed, especially in down shower with 18” ?step. Kitchen furnishings are very good.
