Welcome to 'Cake By The Ocean'. Only a short walk to the sandy white beaches & sparkling blue waters of the Gulf! Beautiful views of the Gulf and canal from the balconies.
The space
Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings, Wifi and a smart TV's in Living room and all bedrooms. Laundry room is located in the upstairs hallway. Beach chairs, umbrella and wagon waiting for you in the garage. Outdoor shower for easy sand removal.
Guest access
Waterside Village is a gated community with pool, hot tub and tropical landscaping. We are located on a canal with a shared dock for day use with easy access to the waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
Other things to note
There is Parking for only two vehicles, one in the garage and one in the shared driveway. No boat trailer parking. Trailers must be parked at the boat ramp and trailer parking pass is required.

This house was the cleanest beach house we have ever stayed in! It was just beautiful. The beach chairs and wagon in the garage were awesome so we didn’t have to pack our own. We will stay here again!

Loved it!

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was in a great location to the beach, and we just loved the house! It was updated, comfortable furniture (beds, couches, everything), and the beach chairs and cart made travel much lighter! Communication with the owners was very easy, and we truly enjoyed our stay here. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful property

Cake by the Ocean was a wonderful property. It’s a beautiful house that is in a great location. The owner was very responsive. My family loves Mexico Beach and it’s very laid back vibe.

More than we expected!

My family of 3 and another family of 4 stayed here for the long weekend. We were blown away with the amenities and the house was better than we imagined it to be! Beach supplies were plentiful and there was plenty of room for all of us. Complex was quiet, got to see manatees from the porch, and enjoyed the quick stroll to the beach. We will be back!

Can’t beat it

Amazing location. We had family staying at the El Governor, and it was so easy commuting back and forth (less than a mile). The house is within walking distance to Mango Marley’s, a pizza food truck, and a little row of shops that includes sweets, shopping and coffee. The house was immaculate and fully stocked with everything we could need and more. Smart TVs in each room. Beautiful view of the canal. Would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful

The place was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. The owner was sweet and checked on us to make sure everything was going smoothly since this is a new listing. It was a very short walk to the beach across the street and the wagon they provided in the garage made the trek easy peasy. They also had beach chairs and floaties for us to use. The beach was lovely and not crowded at all. The pool had a bunch of kids but we were able to snag the hot tub to ourselves (preferred since it was chilly that day). There were a few places to eat within walking distance and many more within a short drive. We drank our coffee on the back porch which had a tranquil view of the canal. We didn't bring a boat or go fishing but I believe you could. Overall I give it a 5/5 and would highly recommend.

House was perfect for our family vacation!! Super clean, well decorated and had everything we needed. Loved walking to breakfast each morning at the nearby coffee shop, getting ice cream in the afternoon and shopping in the cute gift shops. Beach was less than 5 minute walk and was so peaceful and beautiful! Amazing property!

What a lovely house. The kitchen was well stocked, there were many games available to play, and everything in the house was beautiful. The pool area was very nice as well and easily accessible. The beach was even closer than we thought - just a very short walk. With the wagon and plenty of beach chairs, an umbrella, and beach toys, we were all set. We will certainly come back again.

Cake by the ocean is a beautiful property. Comfortable beds, excellent location and all the amenities we needed for our stay. Walking distance to beach, property has community pool and hot tub. Teens walked to local ice cream shop and coffee shop. Mango Marley’s had delicious food and drinks and live music. Slow paced beach focused vacation was the plan of this trip and that was a success!
