Family Coney Island Vacation.

We took our children to Coney Island for Fall Break~ This apartment had everything you need. Manager is very friendly and shows you around the area. Amazing Seafood near by at Sheepshead Bay! I would recommend this apartment.

Great location! Close to subway, food, and beach!

Great home base for visiting everything in New York! Very close to the subway. Several markets and bagel shops are very close by. Mila met us as we were checking in and gave us a tour of the neighborhood. The apartment had everything we needed. This was a great trip for our family. We traveled with a teenage daughter and son.

Great Stay in Sheepshead Bay

Great apartment! Very clean, comfortable, and well equipped! Basement walk out was extremely bright, the location was fabulous, and having private parking for $25 a day was so convenient and well worth the money. The day we arrived was close to 100 degrees so having the beach so close was a lifesaver! Mila was great! Really helpful and knowledgable about the area. He went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Would definitely recommend this place and hope to visit again soon!

NYC outside of Manhattan

Nice and relaxed vacation. Our family really enjoyed our stay at this property. We were welcomed at the property, had an interesting tour walking around the neighbourhood with the manager for 2 hours. The fact that property is so close to different ethnic restaurants, shops,cafes, subway and ocean makes a big difference and the stay at Brooklyn was lots of fun. We have enjoyed dining at Baku restaurant, breakfasts at coffee shops around the corner and Bagel Boy. The ocean was very nice and warm, and we really liked the beach. My husband is a smoker and he was relaxing in backyard where there is a picnic area, smoking cigarettes. Son went to visit his friend by train to Manhattan came back at night time,walked to the property and stated that he felt absolutely safe even at night. Overall, we had great vacation and planning to come back .

A nice stay overall

We are a NC family of 4 -- mom, dad, and 2 teenager daughters. There was plenty of space in this apartment. The first thing we noticed was that the place was immaculately clean. Our contact, Mila, was an absolute delight. She was easy to deal with and met us out front when our taxi pulled up. Mila showed us around the apartment and answered any questions. She then went, in our opinion, the second mile by giving us a walking tour of the neighborhood. She pointed out the various groceries and markets, and the many restaurants (both eat-in and take-away). One of the things we liked about the neighborhood was the variety of eating establishments. As we walked around, we felt very safe. The subway (B and Q take you right into Manhattan) stop is a brief walk just around the corner and up the street...maybe 4 or 5 minutes. It takes about 35-40 minutes to get to Times Square (from the time you leave the apt until you get to the Times Sq stop). Our only negatives would be: After sleeping on sleep number beds at home we found the beds to be a bit uncomfortable because of the thin mattresses. Also, due to some post Hurricane Sandy plumbing issues they asked that all used toilet tissue be placed in a trash can with a lid (provided). Although the toilets seem to flush just fine, we complied and took the trash out twice a day -- once in the morning when we left, and once at night before going to bed. Not an ideal bathroom situation, but not unbearable. Overall, if you are looking for a convenient, clean, relatively comfortable, inexpensive place to stay while you do the tourist thing, this is a great place to consider.

Good economical place to stay in Brooklyn

Good location, safe area, walk to two beaches. Good restaurants closed by. Nice shower. Big refrigerator.

Nice place close to subway

Place is huge we were 7 but I think can accomodate 9 or even 10. Shower is modern and easy to use. Mila was able to come to let us in even when we came after 10pm. Thanks so much!

Clean and comfortable, convenient to subway

Mila was friendly and helpful. The neighborhood was diverse and safe, with many food options nearby and a short walk to subway. Very close to Coney Island and great beaches. House had everything needed for our stay! We will be back!

Mila was friendly & informative. Lovely safe neighborhood. Close to great supermarkets. Quiet apartment. Nice kitchen. Could use some updates. Bed was very soft. All in all nice stay.

Awesome Accommodations

Enjoyable stay

Apartment was nice but a little smaller then it appeared in the pictures. Even though it was smaller still had plenty of beds for the 6 of us. Bathroom was small but nice and never ran out of hot water. The neighborhood wasn’t what we expected but still safely walked the short 5 minutes to the subway every night. We paid for the gated parking and had no problems with anyone messing with our vehicle. Overall very nice stay.

Great 2-broom in Brooklyn

Great choice for families with kids. It can accommodate comfortably 6 people. We arrived there past 1;00AM ( our flight was delayed ) and they have waited to check us in. The apartment has everything a family might need and is very well situated ... mini-markets, stores, restaurants , subway within 5 min walk.

Safe, clean and lots of culture

Overall we were very happy with our stay. We were initially nervous to stay in Brooklyn but it was a great location for everything! Coney island, the metro, you name it. Thanks for everything and especially for meeting us so late at night and getting us acquainted with the neighborhood!

Convenient Location! Good Value

This is a basement walk-out. Plenty of room and slept very well. Additional parking is worth it as it was gated so we felt very safe. Kitchen and bath were nice. Lacked some linens in kitchen and washcloths in bath, but we made do. Accomodated our request for another night when our plans changed. Short walk to train station was biggest plus! Price was a little better than other places, but it is older with some updates.

Just what we needed

The property is as advertised. Good location 2 blocks from subway line and walkable to the beach (or a short train/bus ride). The owners are very responsive and helpful. As others have noted there is only one bathroom but as long as you're aware of that it's all good.

Overall a great stay.

In the middle of Brooklyn, lots of stores close by, beach within walking distance, public transportation within walking distance, clean, no laundry on site but close by. Parking for extra fee but is very convenient considering lack of street parking availability.
