Beautiful waterfront home with pool/spa, boat lift, kayaks and kayak launch!

Island home with direct access to Matlacha Pass. A 2-story property equipped with a pool and spa, high-speed internet, smart TV's, and smart home applications. Enjoy the balconies with sunrise and sunset views. Kayak directly off the back dock from the properties private kayak launch . You can fish right off the back dock, bike, or walk to the local shops/restaurants and the world famous Matlacha bridge, which is less than half a mile away. 2 Kayaks and 2 bicycles are included in the rental.
The space
Essentially 2 full living spaces!!
Upstairs, you will find the masterbedroom with a king-sized bed, a full bath, laundry, coffee bar, kitchen, main living amenities, balconies in both the front and back of the house, as well as a single bed sleeper sofa.
Downstairs, enjoy direct access to the pool, spa, grill, and patio dining. A guest bedroom with a queen bed. Main living with a breakfast table for two, a queen bed sleeper sofa, a kitchenette, and a full bath.

Fishing Adventure with Friends

House was perfect for our stay very comfortable the outside porch and pool/spa was a great place to return too and recover from a day of fishing. Bonus was to take the kayaks and catch some more redfish and snook on our own!

Short stay

We loved our two days on Matlacha! The house is gorgeous and clean, very comfortable beds and clean, lovely pool area. Great cookware (pots/pans) as well, which is really important to me! Kind neighbors and everyone you meet is trying to rebuild after the hurricanes last year. It’s a perfect place to reset and unwind!

Summer days in Matlacha

Relaxing get away. A great place to bring your boat and enjoy amazing fishing all around. Cool off in the private pool and at night soothing soak in the hot tub.

Great Matlacha Stay!!!- Beautiful!

This is a must book for your stay in Matlacha! Great location, beautiful house. You can walk to pretty much anything in Matlacha. Great views from the balconies. Nice private pool/hot tub to relax in. The kayak launch is great and makes getting in and out of them easy! We saw a manatee right by the dock our last night there. This is our 3rd trip to Matlacha, and will plan on staying at this property again. We were so happy to contribute to the local economy as they are building back--- better than ever. Don't miss out on this property, you will not regret it!

The location, view and property was STUNNING! The White Egret is meticulously decorated, super comfy beds and furnishings. The owners went the extra mile to make sure the property has everything you could need or want. The pool and hot tub were quick to heat and very nicely done. Definitely recommend-stay longer if you can-the more you explore the more you will love it!

We had a great stay at Matlacha. This is probably the cleanest VRBO I have ever stayed in. Whomever performs their cleaning services is absolutely top notch. The host was super responsive for the few communications we had. We didn't have any issues with the property and found it perfect for our needs. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. We only wish we would have stayed longer. Thank you for having us.As for details: This property is very well decorated and has a neat split layout. The location is ideal for fishermen and families alike. It is right around the corner from the boat launch. It has an excellent boat lift for those with a boat. And the kayaks were great as well. We didn't have time for the pool or hottub, but those are a great bonus. And the washer and dryer upstairs were super handy.

My only complaint is that I can only give 5 stars! The house was even better than it looked online - and it looked great online! It was everything you could ask for. And Katrina was wonderful hostess - making sure we had everything we needed. Looking forward to our next visit

Just Perfect!

House was clean and organized with everything needed! Loved the boat lift, made it easy and safe to store our boat and take lots of fishing trips. Pool and hottub were a really nice add on to a hot day or cool night.

A great place for all ages.

The home is even more beautiful in person. It was perfect for relaxing, boating, fishing and just enjoying yourself. Great places to eat within walking distance. The home was equipped with everything you need. Pack your bag and head over.

Great Place

The house was exactly as listed and served perfectly for our family of 5. Between the pool, hot tub, dock and kayaks it was hard to get our kids to want to go anywhere else while on vacation. We had one minor issue come up during the stay but the host was incredibly quick to respond and assist. Overall a fantastic stay with easy easy to the town and a quietness all around.

Family fun

House was wonderful. Very well stocked and kept up. The kids loved to hot tub and pool. We got in very late and our code to the door didn't work but after trying all the doors we found one that was unlocked and got in. Called the next day and got a new code that worked. All in all great place and would stay again.

Everything we wanted

Great location. Short walk to shopping and eating in downtown was nice. Fishing and crabbing off the back door was successful and the kayaks were a blast. House and pool were very clean. Katrina was exceptional responding. Peaceful environment. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Matlacha

What a perfect spot to explore Matlacha and Pine Island. Still recovering from the hurricane but coming back. Take time to listen to the stories of the residents and business owners on the island. The house was perfect and so thoughtfully laid out for two couples to travel together. We needed nothing! Pool and hot tub were a treat after a long day of island hopping. Would definitely recommend.!

Magnificent

We were so impressed with this home that had everything possible we could need for our staycation we enjoyed it so unfortunately myself had to leave to go to the hospital on Sunday but my husband and Friends stayed on and made sure everything was cleaned up we would highly recommend this to others and we would like to return another time our host was fantastic and accommodated us all the time and we will continue to look out for this home in the future in the near future

A Perfect Week

We enjoyed everything about our week at The White Egret! Very clean, spacious, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, and well equipped. We loved swimming in the pool, sitting on the dock/fishing, kayaking, biking, and ending our evenings in the hot tub. Dinner at The Blue Dog and Yucatan, right up the street was wonderful and CW Fudge has the best Pecan Caramel Turtles that I have ever had! We are looking forward to staying again earlier in the season next year for even better fishing. Counting down to 2025...... This was our first visit to Matlacha and simply fell in love with this little town still re-building for hurricane Ian.

Stunning

This is the most wonderful place!! We extended our stay because we did not want to leave!!!! Beautiful home. Wonderful host. Convenient location. Boat ramp across the street. Restaurants within walking distance. Publix not too far. Amazing pool/hot tub. Stunning sunsets and sunrises. Very quiet neighborhood. Boat lift! I can’t say enough wonderful things. We will absolutely be back!

Matlacha is such a unique island that will captivate you as soon as you visit. With water all around fishing, boating, and kayaking are at your finger tips. The White Egret is located 2 streets away from the public boat ramp giving boaters quick access to the water. The White Egret has a boat lift on property, a kayak launch with 2 kayaks, and 2 bikes. Guest can fish off of the properties doc, launch and kayak or just relax pool side. It is easy to arrive and never have to leave the property to enjoy your time. However we are literally steps away from shops and restaurants for guest that like to venture out a bit.
