This cozy, 3 bedroom bungalow cottage is nestled on a peninsula located in the heart of Matlacha Florida. With the convenience of direct access or back mangrove waterways you’ll find adventurous use for Kayaks, Canoes, Jet Ski’s and Boating making it easy getting to Sanibel, Captiva, and Ussepa Island in less than 20 minutes by boat with direct access. Matlacha is infamous for being the best fishing in Sw Florida. You can fish right from the privacy of your dock or hire a private charter to pick you up right your backyard. Either way a catch is almost always guaranteed. The cottage comes equipped with an outdoor grill so you can sauté and grill those fresh catches.

This cottage was completely remodeled, and can accommodate up to 8 guests with all accommodation living amenities thought of. This cottage boats a master suite with Private en suite master bath, a guest bedroom with bunkbeds for 3, a third guest bedroom with twin bed, and a Sofa Couch with queen size pull out sofa mattress. All bedrooms and Living room come equipped with streaming 4k UHD TV’s with high speed 1200 Mbs wireless Internet included for your stay. All TVs are equipped with preloaded streaming apps so you won’t miss any of your favorite movies or shows while away. Just sign in and relax. The convenience of a spa/pool is only 5 ft from your master suite for those warm summer days/night and 2 on-site Kayaks for those waterway adventures to see that famous Sw Florida sea life up close. The cottage comes equipped with a 10k lbs boatlift should you choose to bring or rent a boat for those fishing days or evening boat cruises (boat not included) you’ll find every convenience and accommodation is made available for you, your friends, and family. With island restaurants and shops within five minutes walking distance there’s always something new to look forward to. Just pack a bag and let us take care of the rest…

We are (small) pet friendly (up to 20lbs) so your fur family can come with you on your island vacation. And from the dock you’ll experience the most famous sunset Sw florida has to offer.

Amazing location & pool !

Great stay-house had everything we needed and communication with host was great. Dolphins, manatee and great fishing at your fingertips! Super clean and spacious dock for gorgeous sunset views.

The spool was an amazing addition while visiting during a cool spell! The owner was very generous in assuring that we had a very warm spool! The sunsets are beautiful! Hope to be able to return in the future!

Great vacation house!

This house is newly renovated, comfortable, and super cute! The host is attentive and the location is nice for walking. This cottage has outdoor areas that are superb! Loads of fish in the canal and wonderful views. Reilly enjoyed our stay and had fun discovering Matlacha.

Great Cottage

The cottage, patio and dock on the water were great. Everything on the property was clean and well maintained. The cottage is well stocked with kitchen supplies, linens, towels and miscellaneous supplies. We had one minor issue arise with the pool and the property manager responded promptly and addressed the matter. The host was responsive and hospitable in all communications.

Fantastic!!!

Every detail was attended to. The cottage was so new and clean with all the conveniences and no clutter. Poor Matlacha got hit hard by the hurricane BUT it felt great to support the local businesses as they recover and to come home to our cottage and spa/pool on the water. Just LOVED it!

Lovely Matlacha home!

Lovely Coastal decorated house on a canal near open water. This home had everything we needed for startup. Has a spa/pool with seats for 8 or so. Beds were comfortable with soft sheets… Kitchen was easy to cook in with cookware and serving ware…We thoroughly enjoyed the backyard with tropical plantings and the perfect dock to fish from. In fact, we were outside on that deck, many nights fishing.There are kayaks there to use as you will, and they are in perfect order.The landscaping in the front and back is most enjoyable with lights that come on at night that add a special ambience to the area.Anything we need help with was just a call away.We would definitely stay here again. The owner and his manager treated us beautifully.Just, a wonderful experience, using their home and being in the area.

A true gem!

Far exceeding our expectations, this beautiful little cottage was the backdrop of a wonderful week spent in Matlacha, FL. This was our first time back to the island since Hurricaine Ian’s destruction of much of the island. The hosts have done an amazing job reimagining the spaces both inside and out to maximize every minute of your time at this adorable beach cottage. We prepared fresh seafood meals in the well-stocked kitchen, spent lazy afternoons on the patio or in the pool, launched kayaks from the dock, took spectacular sunset pictures, and slept well in the perfectly appointed bedrooms. The hosts have truly thought of everything you might need for the stay, making this an stress-free and wonderful stay. There is a sign that hangs by the front door that says, “Today, I will be happier than a seagull with a French fry.” Well, that was everyday for us! . Thanks to Rich,, Vinny, and others who make this place so special. We look forward to our return!
