We chose Kahana because it’s one of those rare spots in West Maui that offers both serenity and convenience. It’s peaceful and uncrowded—no big resorts, no traffic noise—yet it’s just minutes from Lahaina Town, Napili Bay, and the restaurants and shopping at Whalers Village. Kahana Reef has a relaxed, local feel and is steps from snorkeling, turtle watching, and a quiet beach that often feels like your own private stretch of sand. We love that we can walk to cafes and grab poke from a nearby market, then return home to catch the sunset from the lanai.
