PLEASE NOTE 2: The First floor is a separate Listing, as a “One Bedroom “Captains Quarters” which is sometimes used by seasonal Captains in the area. None of the amenities are shared with this space, including Pool Area and Barbeque. The entire Home on the Second Floor is completely Private

We had a great time here! Convenient for the boat (except closest ramp was closed for renovation) but end of the island ramp was just fine and not that far away. The house was beautiful and comfortable and we loved the chickee hut and pool area for cooling off after a day on the boat. Would love to stay here again!

Summer Paradise

This house was great for our family of 9 to get away for a long weekend. We were able to dock two boats that we took out fishing everyday. The canal the house sits on is just a short ride to Jug Creek and the Charlotte Harbor. The pool was nice and refreshing to come back to after the boat and was a hit with the 3 kids. We utilized the kitchen quite a bit making meals. They pretty much had the essentials. We loved using the nugget ice machine! The 9 of us fit very comfortably in the house. We never felt cramped or like we were on top of each other. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful property for boaters

We absolutely love this property. It’s our second time staying. Wendy is such an accommodating and reasonable host. This property has exactly what’s needed for a small group to stay and relax, and kept very clean. Cute pool with a tiki bar. A boat lift on a canal which takes minutes to get out onto the water. A public boat ramp just steps away from the property. This property is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood, with a few old Florida style restraints near by. If you want to get away from the commercial side of Florida and experience Florida like a local, look no further, book this place.

One of the prettiest places we stayed. Convenient to getting out to fish.

We will definitely stay there again. Hopefully available when vacation comes next year. Wendy was very accessible and quick with her rsponce.

Great house!

We really enjoyed this house. Only problem was it said it slept 10 and it didn’t. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. We cooked most nights. Very comfortable house in a nice quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend, especially if you want to go fishing. There are tons of fishing guides in this area to use as well.

We had an amazing stay for a family wedding nearby. Wendy was very responsive and the property was gorgeous. Very clean and the bed were comfortable.

Property Not As Advertised

After driving 22 hours from Wisconsin to celebrate my birthday with my family and my young grandchildren, we arrived on the property to find that several things were misrepresented. First and foremost, there was a male renter in the bottom half of the property. This was NOT disclosed prior to booking, otherwise we would of never booked the property. He had access to all common areas on the property. Of course this made us feel unsafe, especially because this person was not disclosed so certainly hasn't been vetted in any way. When we contacted the host about this she was dismissive. Second the pool had Algae,large pieces of vegetation and debris. When we contacted the host about this issue she said "it was not like we were going to use the pool that day any way" even though the reservation began that day. Finally there was no boat lift for us to use as both boat lifts had been rented out to others. We had confirmed that the boat lift came with the rental prior to renting this home. We did not take our luggage out of our vehicle,and ended up not staying in the property and left right away. BEWARE-Save your money and stay somewhere else!! We are still battling with VRBO to remedy the situation. The host was incredible rude throughout the entire process. She called my family "scammers" after we brought up our concerns and had informed her and VRBO that we were requesting a refund and would not be staying in the property.

Absolutely Awesome

This is a beautiful property. The upgrades made are topnotch. There is plenty of outside space and protected decks. It has everything you need for a great vacation. We will definitely book this location again the next time we are in town.
