Summer in reach

The condo was as advised on a nice golf course with pools and amenities. The location in proximity to beach’s as well as shops and restaurants were a plus. We look forward to staying again in the future. Only negative issue was the time went by to fast.

Nice location but cleanliness left a lot to be desired.

My family and I have been coming to Sunset Beach for a very long time. In the past we’ve typically stayed on the island. However, with two little ones in tow this year we thought it would be nice to rent a place that had access to a pool. The condo and the amenities were as described in the listing. But the condo was not clean whatsoever. The floor in the kitchen and the bathrooms were filthy. The first night my two little ones took a bath and there was a little water on the floor so my MIL wiped it up so no one would slip, the rag she used to wipe the floor was completely brown with dirt. We found dead cockroaches upon our arrival in the living room and the room with the twin beds. A few days into our stay there was a live cockroach crawling out from behind the living room sofa. We found hair in our shower before anyone ever used it. There was also trash in the bathroom trash can upon arrival. We reached out to the host when we checked in and they did send the cleaner back twice. The first night she came we must have already been in bed as we were all exhausted from a long day of travel. The second day she came we were out at the beach trying to make the most of our trip. At that point I contacted the host again and said I don’t really know what the point of sending someone now is we already had all of our stuff in the condo and with two littles I really would not feel comfortable with someone else in the condo. We also texted pictures of everything to the owners.

Could be a bit cleaner

Property very pretty. Condo could be a bit cleaner. Floors were not clean. I found food wrappers under the bed and in draws in one of the rooms.

We had a great time in the condo. It was very clean and everything was ready for us when we arrived. The check in was very easy. We enjoyed the beaches in the area. The pool was a nice bonus. Would stay again for sure

Very nice, quiet condo, well furnished and clean.

I have stayed in this condo vacationing to Sunset Beach area over many years. It has always been well maintained and clean. The owner has upgraded the furnishings recently and the changes are very nice. The condo overlooks a large pond. It is very quiet, especially at night. Property could have been much cleaner Found dirty sheets on the bed,very disturbing. Very grossed out, and disturbing especially with covid. Owner made excuses and poor communication, very disheartening. First and last vrbo.

Wedding weekend

The property was clean, spacious and centrally located. A car is definitely a necessity to get essentials or go out to eat. I would not hesitate to book here again!

Great Vacation

We all enjoyed our stay in NC, it was close to everything we wanted to do and we had no trouble getting around. I'm just so sorry that we lost the pool key, the owners were very nice about the whole thing and we would definitely like to stay there again.

Family Get Together

A sister has a condo on OIB. Extended family gets houses/condos for the same week each year. We did not have a full week so this was a convenient option. Place was clean. Bedding/linens and appliances dated. But we really only needed a place to sleep/shower and chill from family over-exposure and this worked great. Would recommend/stay again.

Excellent for a weekend away

This is a beautiful place to stay right on the pond! We had our morning coffee with the turtles and enjoyed the peace and quiet. The rentals photos does not do it justice! It’s just the right size and we all were very comfortable and having the large table was perfect for our nightly board games! Thank you for sharing your beautiful place with us!

Great location

We had a wonderful time at this location. The property is tucked away in a beautiful golf course neighborhood. It was approximately 10 minutes away from Sunset Beach. Lowe’s Food and Publix were just 12 minutes away. Food Lion, Walgreens and CVS maybe 8 minutes away. The few issues were handled quickly by owner. It was spacious, comfortable, and as depicted in photos. As far as pandemic concerns, only two units upstairs and two downstairs. They are on opposite sides so very little contact with others. At the pools, everyone was very respectful each other and kept their distance while still being friendly to one another.
