The main floor features 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, large great room, Smart TVs in every room and an oversized covered porch with BIG views. The lower level features a private guest quarters with 1 bedroom, 1 bath, Smart TV , and a private screen porch.

Overall nice place. Picture on line not up to date. Front stairs were narrow. But Not enough toilet paper , not enough towels tv remotes were horrible didn’t work. And it needed to be mowed and trimmed. Otherwise was ok

Fantastic place

Awesome experience. The house was fantastic. We booked it for two nights and really wished we'd booked longer. Situation is perfect, the island is incredible. Kids loved the pool. Laundry facilities were really welcome (we were over from the UK at the midway point of a long trip around the Southeastern US). Everything we needed was in place. Such a short walk to the beach. Such a short walk to great, well priced, restaurants and bars. Really comfortable beds. Also, comms with the management company were brilliant. We arrived late, needing a late check in, and they were so helpful. We really want to come back.

The house was very clean and the kitchen was well appointed. Our kids loved the small pool in the backyard. We loved going to the donut truck, Aunt Evys ice cream, and the acai bowl truck. We also loved having two bikes that came with the house.

Spring Break

The house was very comfortable. No extras....one roll of toilet paper, on roll of paper towels, no laundry detergent, no beach towels, no beach chairs. Was a little surprised by that.The master bed was the only comfortable one. Not the best layout for family with one of the rooms being downstairs under the house.The house was clean and great location!!

Love St. George Island

We wanted to golf and of course being December that is iffy; so that meant more time in the house. The next door neighbor hooked up a generator to a camper and ran it pretty much 24/7. This was a big disappointment and very disturbing to peace and quiet. Hopefully this will not be a problem for future visitors. The house is in a good location and would be very enjoyable in warm weather with the pool.

Misleading Description

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would have to say that my cons out weigh my pros unfortunately but my pros: great pool, washer/dryer, hot water, clean house, 2 bikes, and one block away from the beach. Cons: the “3rd” bedroom (if that’s what you want to call it) looks like it was a storage room that they turned into a bed room. The only way you get to it is by the screened in area, you CANNOT get to it from inside the house. I took pictures of the “3rd bedroom” hoping to attach them to my review. The house only provides you with one trash bag in every trash can, one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one very small dishwasher soap. One of the porch chair was broken and was still on the porch, nails/screws from the deck board are coming up (watch where you step) there are no curtains covering the sliding glass doors in the living room or kitchen (if you sleep on the couch, good luck! The queen size mattress is “extra” firm and my list goes on.

Reviewer Comments: Perfect location to the beach, shops, and restaurants!We couldn’t keep the kids out of the pool which was a main factor in choosing this home. The staff at Suncoast were friendly and so easy to work with. We had a few unexpected issues but they were quick to handle them and take care of us.The only thing I would note is that the amenities are very limited compared to other house rentals. Definitely make sure to bring your own paper towels, clothes washing items, toilet paper, etc There was just enough to get you started. Also suggest making sure to have cups for kids as the stock is all glassware.Overall we were pleased with the house and rental company! We are already talking about planning our next visit to this place.

Great beach home!

Enjoyed our stay, but there were some frustrations

Reviewer Comments: Just finished a week stay at Dune our Thing and overall it was okay. The pool is great, as is the general location and proximity to the beach, restaurants, and shopping.One initial issue was the lack of stocked household items. There was 1 trash bag, one dishwasher detergent, no laundry detergent, no extra towels, very minimal paper products, etc. If you are anything like my family and you have kids, you know you run through this stuff quickly. We found ourselves having to make several trips to the local grocery stores during the week, starting within hours of our arrival just for basic goods. The kitchen was stocked okay with pots/pans/plates, but there weren’t basics like salt and pepper. If you needed to cook anything during you stay, expect to source everything yourself.The property is in pretty sore need of maintenance. Of the 5 sliding glass entry doors, 3 do not lock or won’t stay locked. One has a wood block to wedge in the slide track, but we had to source our own items to keep the other doors ‘locked.’ The door downstairs can but easily bumped open without a key.The hvac return grate upstairs rattled so badly that we had to remove it for the duration of our stay. The bathroom downstairs really needs a ventilation fan to prevent mildew odors in the entire lower living space. We also experienced roaches and even a scorpion in the lower bathroom. Upon arrival, there was trash on the ground outside and empty bottles in the backyard outside the pool fence.

Quick weekend getaway

All was really good but there were roaches that need to be eradicated. Bring your own beach towels. Would stay there again.

Our new favorite house

The house and pool were perfect! Short walk to the beach, house was great and super clean. I would say bring trash bags they only provide one in the can in the kitchen. Will most likely be renting this home again in the future!

The pool was a pleasant surprise as the back yard is surrounded by trees and very secluded. There was construction nearby and while we could hear them, we could not see them, which was very nice. Only one block away from The Blue Parrott Restaurant which we enjoyed.
