Welcome to our beautiful lakefront home. Where you can relax, enjoy sunsets, private beach, just relax by the fire pit and listen to the waves.
Downtown Saint Joseph and Benton Harbor are minutes away and packed with great restaurants, shops, galleries and museums. You'll discover plenty of fresh fruit stands, local farmer's markets, brew pubs, and wineries within minutes to visit and enjoy. The neighborhood is full of full-time residents who are friendly and welcoming. This makes it a great place to bring a family.
Home is situated on a bluff overlooking the sandy beaches of Lake Michigan and has steps down to the private beach. The ones who are not able to do the steps are more than welcome to enjoy Rocky gap beach just couple minutes down the road.
The main floor has an open, inviting feel. Spectacular views of the lake from the kitchen, dining area, and living room.
Our spacious home has 4 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, comfortably sleep 12+1. All the bedrooms have their own separate bathrooms. 1st floor bedroom has king bed, 2nd floor master has queen bed+ sleeping futon ( more for kids under 15), 3rd bedroom has king bed and queen bed in the loft (same bedroom). 4th bedroom in the basement has 2 queen beds and a nice sitting area with TV.
High speed internet throughout the house
The house is off of a highway bike path and connects to downtown St Joseph. So bring your bikes and enjoy!
Bring your hiking boots! Sarett Nature Center is a short distance and offers over 1,000 acres and 8 miles of trails. There is no entrance fee to hike on the trails.
Bring your golf clubs ! Harbor Shores a Jack Nicholas Signature Golf Course is waiting for all the golf lovers.

Have a wonderful stay at our beachfront house creating memories and respecting the surrounding neighborhood.

Beautiful well maintained and updated home on a gorgeous lake front property. Gorgeous sunsets!Beautiful private beach. Difficult but so worth it stairs down to and stair climb up from the beach. Would definitely stay here again.

My family and I had an absolutely lovely time here! First of all, this was potentially the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed at - truly spotless (kudos to their cleaning crew!). The house is newly renovated with luxurious finishes that made our stay feel especially special. The private beach was gorgeous - clear water (no algae) and wasn't at all rocky. Yes, there are a lot of stairs to access the beach, but they were totally do-able for me as a middle-aged mom in average shape. Altogether a great house!!

Fantastic house!

Beautiful and comfortable home on the gorgeous bluff down to the lake!! Amazing breeze and fantastic sunsets every night! Stayed with our kids and grandkids for a week, and had a great time! Great outdoor deck area and firepit area! The steps are a LOT, but good exercise coming up each day! And you can take breaks at each landing. Beautiful beach--felt very private. House had wonderfully appointed kitchen, plenty of bath and beach towels, comfy beds...Would definitely recommend this property!

Beautiful property nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Fully stocked kitchen which was fantastic for our family vacation. Gorgeous sunsets and great outdoor space with plenty of seating. Beach was beautiful, the stairs were a lot but we all used it daily. Just pace yourself

Dreamy Lake Escape

We wanted a house with beach access on Lake Michigan and this lovely house delivered! We went with our 4 children and 2 grandchildren; everyone enjoyed themselves given the proximity to the beach and cute town of St. Joseph. This would not be a good fit for people with mobility issues given the number of stairs to the beach as indicated in the property description. We also only used bottled water as we were traveling with young children and there is concern for lead in the water in the area.

Benton Harbor Trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief 3 night stay. The house is so bright and beautifully decorated. When you walk in, the first floor has large windows which give you a great view of the lake. There is a lovely deck and a fire pit in the back. The house is in a great location. It is well stocked, quiet, and comfortable. We enjoyed walking down to the beach, saw one pretty sunset, and even had a warm enough day to go in the water. We wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Lakeside Luxury

We had an amazing stay. The home is in immaculate condition and the host could not have been easier to work with. Super convenient location to "all things" Benton Harbor and St Joe. The views of the lake in the evening were breathtaking. We will absolutely stay here again when back in the area.

Seconds please!

We have stayed at this property before and the view, the decor, the space, the beds, the private beach access, etc. made a repeat stay a no brainer. If you'd like to live in 'Architectural Digest' style and comfort for a few days as well as have an 11/10 view, this is the place for you. Highly recommended.

Important: THERE IS NO CELL SERVICE. Other than that, and the owner cannot control that, the house was great for four couples.

Fantastic views, comfortable beds, lots of room, well maintained, beach access, high end decor and appointments, etc. Absolutely nothing to fault. Let us put it this way, even your high end VRBOs don’t have Le Creuset cookware and a Jura coffeemaker like this property did!

The property is BEAUTIFUL. House was gorgeous and clean and well stocked. Neighbors were lovely. View is breathtaking. Beach is beyond perfect. I literally cannot say enough good things about this rental. Also. Communication with host was quick as well. 💯💯💯 recommend! We wish we weren’t leaving!

Amazing lake views

Beautiful, recently renovated house with amazing views. Very clean upon arrival. Amount and steepness of stairs down to the lake not ideal, but nice public beach is less than a 5 minute drive. Cell reception at the house was not great, and there is no reception at the beach. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely visit again.

Great views!

We really enjoyed staying at this house, the 180 degree views of the lake are beautiful! The beach is equally as wonderful! However the trek to and from the beach is no joke. The listing says 80-90 stairs, which is still quite a bit, however in reality it’s closer to 170. It would not be an easy trip for elderly or anyone with any handicap or physical restrictions. But like I said the beach was great once we were there. For the majority of the trip we had the entire beach to ourselves!

Great lake getaway, awesome beach, amazing house

Where to begin!? This trip lived up to all of our expectations…and then some! Everything about this property and trip was great! The host has clearly been intentional in a complete renovation of a property located on AMAZING Lake Michigan beaches with an amazing view. Everything about the inside of the house is new/reno’ed…and when I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING. Appliances, dish/stem ware, bedding, TV, cabinets. You name it, it’s new. Owner/host did a great job!! Now, on to the beach. We’ve vacationed many times to the 30A and Destin area and you’d be hard-pressed to tell a difference in the texture of the sand on the beach, so that was a huge win! The amazing bonus compared to Destin/30A area is we had the beach to ourselves! No competing for the front row of the beach, you’re not paying $200/day for umbrella and chairs on the front row, no smell of seaweed, no salt to contend with, no undertow to worry about with kids…just great sand, privacy, and the same sound of waves crashing on the shores. Want to head into town? No worries…a 6 minute drive and you’re downtown St. Joseph. Shops, ice cream (who doesn’t love a Kilwin’s?!), and restaurants don’t leave you wanting much more. Interested in golf? Great! There’s the Jack Nicklaus course that’s only 5’ away. We played Lake Michigan Hills as well which was another nice course. Beautiful sunsets overlooking the lake…again, hard to say enough nice things about this property and our experience. We’ll definitely be back!
