Hermosa casa todo el año hecha para la diversión del verano. Aproximadamente 2-1 / 2 horas de Chicago y 2 horas y 40 minutos de Detroit, este 3 dormitorios, dos baños se encuentra en un lago privado a 20 minutos al oeste de Kalamazoo y 20 minutos al este de South Haven. Summer vaca

We loved our stay. Close to a nice sandy beach. House was very comfortable. Felt bad the power went out due to a storm the last night but we made it work. Will definitely book again.

Relaxing and quiet

Property had plenty of room for my entire family. All amenities were available to cook and relax. Location was perfect to the lake with a beautiful yard. The only issue was poor phone signal but if your not worried about that it's great.

Beach vacation win

Second summer we've stayed here! So close to the beach. Walk across the dirt road and you're there. Kids loved the calm & warm water to swim and play on the beach. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. We grilled twice, grill is great. Fruit picking is nearby. But with the beach, for our young family we basically didn't go anywhere else.

Great experience

Nicole was awesome! Property is in great shape, a few things are a bit dated but everything is in excellent working condition. You can tell the owner cares about the details. The beach is so close you could call it waterfront. The kids had a blast on the sandy beach!

Excellent as always. Everything a house needs was provided. We did a lot of cooking and all the pots, pans, storage containers, dishes, etc. were so appreciated. Super clean and comfortable. We were too intimidated to use the very old oven but all other appliances were very new, clean, and in working order. The lake and beach were very relaxing and enjoyable. It's a great little slice of heaven.

Comfortable home, across the street from lake beach!

The house was as described and pictured - the home was spacious and had lots of cookware to use. The home was clean, but dusty, and the beds were comfortable. The shared community lake access, playground, and tables are across the cul de sac, very close! Outside yard/furnishings could been a little more. The reason for 4 stars was the smell of the home was overwhelmingly musty, like mold/mildew, and the oven was from the 1960s and basically unusable. All other appliances were great and when we opened the windows, it helped the smell a bit, but it never went away. Overall a pretty good stay! We loved the lake.

Looking forward to our next stay.

The owner Nicole was a pleasure to deal with. The house was spotless and very well equipped with pots, pans, utensils, glasses, paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, etc, she has everything covered, just bring your own toiletries. The front of the house has a patio table and plenty of seating the yard was huge with an additional sitting area off the back door. The beach and play area for the kids is about 50 feet from the home. The kids ran back and forth all day.They had so much fun jumping off the swim doc, fishing, catching frogs and turtles.... plenty to do. We never heard the words I'M BOARD. Visited both Saugatuck and South Haven both towns are beautiful and no too far from the home. Looking forward to our next stay in this Shamrock Shores Home. Thanks, Denise

Comfortable Stay

We enjoyed our time there. The home was clean and had just about every amenity you can think of. We really liked the retro decor. Our grands enjoyed being so close to the lake and did a lot of swimming and fishing. My grandson caught his biggest fish yet in that lake. Thank you Nicole and Ben for allowing us to bring our boat. The tennis court was a bonus. The adults and kids played quite a bit of tennis. Because the lake is private and towards the end of the season it was a very quite and peaceful stay. Lastly, Nicole is very good at communicating and any question was addressed promptly. Thank you again for a great stay!

Great Family Vacation on the Lake

So kid friendly!

Everything was very nice about the house...so clean and comfortable! And the welcoming nature of the whole neighborhood was awesome. We had barely unpacked and kids came over to ask if my grandchildren could play. The location right across from the playground and beach area was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful long weekend!

I would love to go back again next year! Very clean home. Very close to the beach. I wish there was more fishing access. The lights on the outside of the house did not work, that's my only complaint. The house was very well-stocked and we did not need to bring any thing except for our clothes and food. Very close to grocery store. Also we ran out of propane for the grill and my son-in-law was not able to get a hold of Nicole's dad for a change out. They were lots of kids in the area so my grandkids had fun. If you want to get away and relax this is the place to go to.

Awesome location, cozy house and lots of activities to do in close proximity

Let me start with the inconvenience with the dish washer which was broken and the owner notified us an hour before the trip. It was a huge inconvenience since we had kids in our group and we were planning to cook for them. No credit was provided either for this inconvenience. House is small but we are a close knit group of friends so it worked out. The house was clean and had enough supplies to make your stay comfortable. Location is awesome. The house is less than 30 steps away from a private beach. We tried wine tasting, golf course, local ice cream shops, apple picking etc and it was a lot of fun.

It just wasn’t what I imagined. The beach was very small and full of people. Social distancing impossible. The house was located pretty much across a parking lot. No privacy. It was not what I imagined. .

Great house on nice spring fed lake with beach

At the end of a tree lined dirt road a Fantastic mid century house with large windows in a small neighborhood. Nice view of the lake from front room and patio at the front of the house next to the driveway. 3 houses in from the lake with tennis court, grassy field and private community beach directly across the street you almost feel like you are directly on the lake. Comfy and roomy main bedroom. Well equipped kitchen. Satellite TV in living room and main bedroom. WiFi isn’t great for streaming but Amazon Prime worked better than Netflix. Low cell service but no calls dropped. Came the week before Labor Day weekend so it was quiet. The few neighbors we met were very nice and friendly.

Perfect for families

We stayed for 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beach is perfect for kids of all ages and the gradual entry with sandy bottom was wonderful for the youngest kids! Having access to the outdoor sporting activities and playground also meant that we were easily able to keep the kids entertained. The community is very quiet and peaceful which was wonderful as we stayed during the pandemic, and were easily able to keep our distance. Weekends are busier but not overwhelming. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and better stocked than any rental I have stayed in previously. Nicole was easy to work with and having her dad close by was nice as he was easily able to answer questions. Overall it is perfecr for families, especially with younger children! We plan to come back next year.

Great vacation home

My family and I had a great time at the house for a week. Really close tot he beach, just had to walk across the parking spots, and not too many people at the beach, especially in the morning. The only challenge for us was we had no cell service (T-Mobile), but the internet at the house covered our needs.

Great for our young family

Often had the beach to ourselves, early AMs. Beach so close we didn't bother taking the baby's changing stuff, just popped back to the house. Cute neighborhood. We felt comfortable (this stay was during Covid) with the cleanliness and our ability to social distance. The shared beach is busy-ish on weekend afternoons with locals but we were able to find a place with enough space every day when we wanted.
