Cabin located in the heart of the Adirondacks

If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing break, then this place is for you. Located in the Pharaoh Lake Wilderness in the heart of the Adirondacks. You will be only 1 mile from a state campground and Putts Pond. There are many hiking trails and fishing to be discovered. We do have some taxidermy mounts of a bobcat and a deer, just to let you know.
Cabin consists of one bedroom with a queen size bed. There is a pullout couch in the living room. Open floor plan which includes kitchen, dining area and living room. Bathroom has a shower. Towels and linen are provided for you. Full kitchen with everything provided for your use. All you need is your food. Roku tv and antennae, for local channels is available. Internet is currently available. Spend time outside sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch. There is also a screened in tent that has a table and chairs for your enjoyment. Gas grill, charcoal grill and fire pit are also included. Sleeps up to 4 people. Sorry no pets allowed. We do not charge a cleaning fee, so we would appreciate leaving a tip for the cleaning. Thank you.

The location is great whether you’re visiting for hiking exploring nature, visiting For Ticonderoga or the Star Trek Set Tours or simply looking for a getaway to explore the towns on the surrounding areas.

We loved this little cabin. It is efficient, clean and simple. Very close to hiking and fishing. The fall foliage is beautiful in the fall. We are in town a couple of times a year, and we will definitely be back!

Mom’s cabin was perfect for a long weekend away. Very clean. We loved the fire pit and screened in gazebo. We would stay again.

Loved the place and the outdoor areas. Location was great for visiting Fort Ticonderoga. Plenty of hot water and extras around the cabin, like the fresh veggies left for us. The mattresses were a bit uncomfortable, perhaps a mattress topper would be helpful.

Thank you for staying at Mom's Cabin. The couch bed does have a matress topper on it. It cant have any thicker or it wont fold. The bed is a pillow top but does have a matress pad topper but was getting washed. Thank you for your advice.

It was the prefect get away for a couple. Clean, organized and well kept. Cabin has all needed to cook there, but local restaurants are good too. Would stay again.

Would definitely stay here again! Although the shower is tiny, the cabin was comfy and cozy while we waited for the rain to pass by. Located 10-15 minutes from stores and restaurants on a quiet street- yes please!

This is a cute cabin in a beautiful setting. We enjoyed our stay and liked that it was close to many attractions that we had planned on going to. We were so busy that I was bummed that we didn't have time to use the cute screened gazebo! I also should have looked at the veggies in the basket on the counter a little closer as I didn't realize they were real until checkout! LOL Bed was a tad uncomfortable but overall a great cabin.

What an awesome place. A/C, 3 grills, everything we need and more. We could live here! Host was smooth as glass and answered everything before asked. Wonderful place, we enjoyed fireworks in nearby Ticonderoga, visited with friends at Pyramid lake, and we caught 223 fish between the 2 of us in 2 days! Perfect location for all of this and thank you!

Our stay at Mom’s cabin couldn’t have been better. The cabin was clean and well appointed. The bath was small but that is to be expected in a small cabin. If you like seclusion and quiet evenings then this is the place for you. Our only suggestion would be a new coffee maker as the one in the cabin is very slow to brew the coffee.

We had 3 full days in the cabin. Great hiking was nearby from the Putnam Pond Campgrounds. Fort Ticonderoga was 20 minutes away and another planned activity for us. A must-do.The 2nd day was a complete washout with heavy rain all day. We made the most of it and sat on the rockers on the front porch...a perfect contingency for enjoying the storm.Very quiet and peaceful setting. 5 stars.

Very clean, well equipped with everything needed, good instructions on arrival and in the cabin. The location was reasonably close to our planned activities in the Adirondacks and close to Ticonderoga for groceries, gas, and restaurants. I would stay at Mom’s cafe again if I was in the area.

Two day stay

My family and I really enjoyed Mom's cabin. It was very clean and located close to Putnam Pond campground. It was very private yet close to Ticonderoga. I highly recommend a stay here.

Both my husband and I are retired. We live close to the cabin. We originally had the cabin as a little convenience store for the public campground, that is a mile up the road. We both worked, then came home and worked, till 9 o'clock at night. It was too much, and we couldn't find someone to work when we needed a break. That's when we decided to turn it into a rental cabin. We have now both retired and use the cabin as a little extra retirement income. We enjoy giving people a little break out in the country.

My husband's family has lived here for generations, and we have brought our family up here also. We love the country life. We garden. Have our own honeybees and tap a few trees to make maple syrup in the spring. We would never live anywhere else.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We think the cabin is a very nice place for a little bit of peace and quiet. We are only 10 to 15 minutes away from the town, and only 2 minutes from the state hiking trails. We have had lots of customers see wildlife while sitting on the front porch. There is plenty of room there for parking your vehicle and boat trailer.
