Approximately 70 miles from Richmond. Beautifully decorated and well equipped for every guest .Downtown Mathews and Gloucester are just a 15 min drive away for dining and shopping. EAT, DRINK, AND PLAY! Fishing, swimming, sun bathing, and beautiful sunsets await you at The Uncorked Cottage.

Open concept floor plan~ living room, dining and kitchen~ Perfect for entertaining. Dining table for 6 and 2 person bar seating. 4 person gaming table. Spacious living area with sectional seating and beautiful lighting for your choice of ambiance.
First floor primary en suite with King bed and TV.
Additional first level en suite bedroom with full size bed, twin trundle, TV, and full bath.
"Crow's Nest" has a Queen pull out sofa, desk, TV with gaming, and full bath.
Kitchen is well equipped with all of the things you will need to eat, drink, and entertain - including a wine chiller, various utensils, pots/pans, bakeware and barware

Some of the access roads are dirt and/or gravel. When it storms, water can accumulate and make it a challenge for smaller cars. Please be sure to check the weather or with the host if you have specific questions when planning your trip!

Located 3 houses from the water. This slightly rural community offers a private beach, boat landing, and pier within 1/2 mile for all guests.

Lovely Immaculate property

Check in was super easy. The kitchen was well equipped with everything any family could need. Very quiet and peaceful setting. Also just a short drive to all of the historic landmarks!

Beautiful River Getaway

We booked Uncorked for family members over the Fourth of July holiday as we live right across the river. They were very impressed with the location, decor, cleanliness, and welcome they received. It's a beautiful place!

Excellent house!

The house was even nicer than the pictures! We were busy during our short stay seeing some sights in Yorktown and Williamsburg, but the house had lots of room to hang out and entertain. The hosts went above and beyond with a lot of supplies and very nice furnishings.

North River accommodation during Va garden tour week.

Everything was just great well decorated clean and plenty of kitchen equipment. We did want to suggest a cheese grater and some paper napkins. Left some there. Thanks for an enjoyable time at this cottage. While we toured ,Gloucester properties and Goshen garden etc.

Family Vacation

Our stay was great. This was the first first vacation with my parents since COVID. The house was perfect for our family. My parents srayed in the Crow's Nest room and loved it. The kitchen had everything you neesed. The house was well stocked with games and beach needs. The Kayaks were fun for whole family. We also enjoyed our evening down at the padio area. Ample seating. We loved it. Being from Lancaster PA it is a long haul for the grandparents. If you could MOVE the house to Rehobeth Beach DE, we would rent it every summer.
