Our famiky enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Super cabin! Comfortable, plenty of space,great outdoor time with family, and beautiful setting. Very remote and a little difficult to drive the back roads.

The local was wonderful driving in and out was a little tricky for some but overall could be happier with the location and space

Hidden Jewel

Nice drive up to the cabin where the children enjoyed seeing peacocks, turkeys, rabbits, deer and other wildlife. Ample space for our family. The screened porch was fabulous and the sound of the creek very pleasant and soothing. We enjoyed several meals out here. The interior décor was tastefully done for a cabin. The large television in the living room was great for nightly family movies. The children very much enjoyed swimming in the creek and using the kayaks and other assorted "toys" left for guests. The fire pit area by the creek was the best for making s’mores and the nearby swing perfect for reading a good book. Having a stand-alone ice maker is great.

This home was incredible for our family of 15 vacation. Not only are there 6 bedrooms but each room has its own bathroom. At least 3 of the rooms have multiple sleeping arrangements that can be configured to accommodate a large party. Sitting on the main level screened Porch and listening to the river/creek rush by without having to worry about bugs was awesome. Also, a great place for the dogs, both side door lock so your pet can hangout with you without worry they can get out. It was clean, air conditioning worked well, kitchen was fully stocked for cooking large meals and the grill out front worked great. The last 1.5 miles is a dirt/gravel road, well maintained but never the less, expect bumps, dust, and a few uphill moments that may seem like you wont make it, lol. You are in the mountains so it is to be expected but just a heads up (a minivan made it). The location is very close to downtown and Ingles Grocery Store. The kids and dogs really enjoyed the creek right behind the house. If you are looking for a place to get away but also want to be a shirt distance away for convenience, you can not go wrong. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful remote location. Lodge is as-described, with plenty of spaces for a big group to spread out. Bedrooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable. Access to the creek was great-kids loved splashing around in it, and adults enjoyed fishing. Kitchen could use a few more bigger pots/pans for cooking for a large group, but generally was well stocked with kitchen dishes, glasses, utensils, etc.
