Pool was great and location was great. Hotel/condo needs renovations. Looks like it is in process. Beachfront is awesome. Host was very responsive. Good party store accross the street for snacks.

Great place to go if you want to go to the beach!!

safe, clean, and easy to get to! Would recommend for a girls trip. Monika is a great host and made the stay super easy!

Besides needing some tlc the place was great! Clean and location was amazing. Had to wait a little to check in which was inconvenient, but I would def recommend to a friend and stay here again.

The unit had a view of the ocean and pool down below. It was a nice size unit and pretty clean. The cost of parking should have been more apparent during the initial transaction.

Amazing location

The location is close to everything we needed and I would highly recommend! The items in the apartment need serious update-almost all beach chairs were corroded and unusable. Having said that, we loved that the beach was across the walkway and food and drink options readily available.

Cockroach issue

We saw cockroaches in the kitchen and there’s no ventilation in bathroom. Beside this the location is great and the room’s also great. Additionally there’re beach chairs available too.

Great budget stay

The room is not updated and the wifi is not great. The pool and beach access are amazing. You could get away without renting a car if you're only doing the beach and local food which is plenty. Great for the price an unbeatable location.

Clean, older hotel like room w mini kitchen guy fridge.

The Casablanca was in a great location right on Collins Ave and literally on the beach. The building itself and the unit were a little run down but perfectly fine to stay in Comfortable beds, clean linens, plenty of towels, etc The WiFi was awful. Could not do any work from the room and the communication with the host was mediocre at best.

Frustrating checking in process

The room had an odor and the tv never worked. We had arrived late and the security guard didn’t have my information at the front desk, made things very frustrating and won’t stay there again.

Inexpensive, but you get what you pay for

Room not ready at check in. We had been traveling all day and it was disappointing. We were not early. Owner was excellent with communication. It is an older building. Needs updating. Easy access to the beach. Nice little shop for drinks, snacks, small items forgotten at home. No bar or restaurant that we were aware of. We felt safe in the room but not as much walking around neighborhood. I do not enjoy negative reviews but I probably would not stay here again.

It was fine for the two nights we had there before getting on ship. The checkin with the 24hour security was a joke the guy wouldn’t get off the couch to help us. After about 10 mins and a travel day of 10 hours he finally decided to help.

Decent Room, But the Building Needs Major Improvements

The room itself was as described and matched the photos, but the overall property was disappointing. The entrance and hallways were poorly maintained and had a persistent bad odor. The pool area was in need of significant upgrades. While the unit was fine, the overall experience was diminished by the condition of the building. Also, it would be helpful if the listing mentioned that this is part of the Casablanca Hotel, as that context would set more accurate expectations.
