About this space
Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis, 5 minute drive from Indian Rocks Beach, restaurants on Gulf Blvd, aka the beach Blvd. or relax in your own little beach in our backyard!
The large pool and set up will make you feel like you're at a resort all to yourself!

Check in is at 4pm and check out is 11am. A booklet of instructions will be inside the house.

Large pool! Not heated but it's Florida!

Host was very responsive. Unfortunately we were not able to use the pool as the water was too cold. There were ants in the kitchen. House wasn’t as clean as we would have liked. Beds are very comfortable. Location was great for the beach and local stores. We had a very nice weekend for Indian Rocks Beach.

A very nice place and close to a lot of different beaches and things to do roughly within a half an hour travel time. I would stay again and the host was very responsive and great to deal with.

Kids loved the pool!

Our stay at the Dorothy house was very pleasant and relaxing. We had never rented a house having only stayed in condos on the beach in the past. The private pool and open space was a nice alternative. We would love to come back and stay again!

Nice getaway

My family, 6 total, and I stayed at this property for a week in June. It’s in a nice neighborhood, about 1.5 miles to the beach. Indian Rocks beach is beautiful, white sand with clear water. The property was perfect for our family, enough space, beautiful pool, pool table, it also has a washer and dryer, and nice kitchen. We had a great time!

Wonderful beach house

We had two families (8 people) stay here and had ample space for everyone. It is a quick 6 minute drive to Indian Shores Beach, about 20 minutes to Clearwater beach. The pool is a wonderful addition. Host was very responsive. We will keep this place in mind for future trips!

Family wedding

Excellent stay. 20 min easy drive to Clearwater Beach. Excellent and quick communication with the host. Nice pool with a lot of space.

I booked the Dorothy house for my family coming into town. Its right down the street from my house, it had a pool, plenty of space and the host was most accommodating! The rain we had that weekend was terrible, and some water got into the house, and I sent them a picture and within two minutes they were texting me and asking me what I needed and how they could help. It was wonderful, they were so fast at responding and so understanding of the privacy my family wanted during this stay due to the circumstances. I would definitely stay here again and can't thank them enough for their hospitality and communication! 9/10! No one can be perfect :)!

Florida sunshine

The property is just wonderful, the neighborhood is very quiet. We went down for 18 days to visit our family and the grandkids had a wonderful time in pool. House and pool are very clean. I will definitely stay again and would highly recommend this property

From the moment we arrived, we encountered multiple issues. The lock on the front door was nearly unusable due to low battery power, requiring us to struggle just to gain entry. Once inside, the heat was overwhelming, and the air return was visibly dirty, contributing to a strong musty odor throughout the space.We also noticed mold on the shed near the pool, which raised serious health concerns. Additionally, there were exposed wires near the pergola—posing a potential safety hazard. The master bathroom lacked a power outlet and had no shower, only a tub, which was inconvenient and unexpected.These issues made our stay uncomfortable and concerning. The property was plenty big and worked well for our group. The AC had a hard time cooling the house. The louvered door to the AC unit was painted and quite dirty thus not allowing it to breath. It also appeared the air filter hadn't been changed for a long time and with no cold air returns in the bedrooms it took a long time for the house to cool down.

Great stay

The only thing is, there was some alarm that would go off and scare us when we came into the house at the front door it must jave been motion activated woth a camera to see as we were coming in and going out. The house was clean and as advertised. Very Nice pool.

Gave us shelter during the hurricane.

I will be forever greatful to the host and their willingness to accomodate us in the aftermath of a hurricane when we couldnt get back to our house. They were so very kind and accommodating. The house was older but seved our purposes well.

Very accomodating with large beds

Host was very accomodating and answered quickly house has large beds in every room even the bunk bed room had a large enough bed for an adult Very close to all the beachside bars and restraunts less than 5 mins from and beautiful beach Pool was awesome and kitchen was fully stocked with utensils The only thing i would do is make sure to bring blankets if you and your partner use seperate blankets theres enough for every bed but as a large dude (6'3") with a sheet hoging wife i had to battle it out. Pool table was in good shape and more than enough towels and ammenities for 7 people Nectar matresses very comfy

Quick 5 mins drive to beach and restaurants

This is nice and spacious, accommodated 10 of us comfortably. Bed mattresses are so comfortable and beds are not squeaky. Pool is perfect size and kids had so much fun swimming in the evening. The host was very quick to respond to messages. Only thing I would say, house was not very clean when we got there. I had to quick sweep the floors and take the trash out. Looked like previous renters left dirty dishes in the drawers so we had to wash the dishes before use. Bath tubs were visibly dirty. Stove top is cracked but can still use it. Other than this, house is perfect and we had fun staying at this property. It is quick 5 mins drive to Indian Rocks beach and conveniently close to all the restaurants and stores.

Overall, this property was ok and has potential to be great, but wasn't exactly as described. I always appreciate an honest review, so sharing what my family experienced in our stay. PROS: The house is very spacious, so much room. The beds were AMAZING, loved the mattresses. Fully stocked kitchen. Quiet location but only 5 minutes from the beach and gulf blvd, so that was great. The pool table is a nice addition. CONS: The AC can't keep up, atleast not in July. No matter how low we kept it, the temp in the house was always atleast 75-78 degrees. We had to go purchase several fans to keep the house cool. The house was fairly clean on the surface, but the floors turned our socks black on the first day, and the showers/tub had visible dirt. Some of the floors had some buckling and soft spots. The pool was really gross the day we arrived, with sand and dirt from previous renter. Pool guy eventually came a couple days into the trip, but that cut into the whole purpose of having the pool. The patio furniture is not as advertised. The large umbrella is broken and unable to use, and the wicker couch/chair was very worn. The pool deck is a little rough, as the holes in the concrete have been filled with small rocks.Like I said, overall, it's not a bad place. But definitely could use a little extra care, attention and cleaning to make it better. The pictures on the listing make it look alot better than it actually is in person.
