Esta pintoresca y encantadora casa está a nivel del suelo, actualizada y esperando por usted. Shell Basket 2 se encuentra en un vecindario tranquilo pero cerca del sendero para bicicletas de Sanibel, así como de restaurantes, tiendas y galerías.

Amazing location

Nice house. Had everything we needed. Very short walk to beach. The heated pool was great. We loved our time on Sanibel.

Perfect beach getaway!

We were completely satisfied with the Shell Basket 2 rental. The drive-thru check in process was easy, quick, and so efficient. The house suites our needs for a family with three teenagers. House had everything to meet our needs. Short walk to the beach, but a beach cart makes it more convenient. We had a great time and would welcome the opportunity to return someday!

We rented on start of off season for great price! House is short walk to beach and an easy bicycle ride to 3 nearby public beaches (Lighthouse, Gulf Side and Causeway) and Periwinkle Way. Greatly appreciated pool with afternoon heat. This home is a perfect place for families, especially with younger children. Sanible is great place to relax on the beach, enjoy the wildlife and flora of Florida and Shell Basket 2 was perfectly place to take advantage of our Sanibel vacation.

False advertisement about the location of the beach, description of the beach says is only 300 steps away, that was so wrong as the beach was more like 3000 steps and I’m not exaggerating. Also the refrigerator had rust on it so bad it look like blood splatter. Bathroom window that was in the shower should have been frosted because if the neighbor wanted to look in they could see a person showering.

The house was very clean and in the perfect location. Only a minute walk to the beach and the heated pool at the property was wonderful! We already booked for next year.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house, the only issue we had was the bbq was dirty like never was clean before. The beach, the pool and the weather were perfect.

Excellent location.

Located on the East end of the island makes it much easier to deal with traffic. The house is quaint, cozy and was perfect for our small family's needs. One thing I might add, is a lockbox for easier check out than having to drive against traffic when you're trying to get to the airport and leave the island. Also, for over $4,000 for a week stay one might expect better than single ply toilet tissue.

Wonderful family bonding time!

This property was fantastic for our entire family. The kitchen was spacious and had everything one needs for the stay. The bedrooms were nice for everyone. The location to the beach was perfect.

Plenty of space inside and short walk to beach

The location is perfect ... a short walk to the beach (2-3 minutes) and an easy to bike to many restaurants. We never had to sit in any of the heavy traffic. The house was bigger inside than we expected. Plenty of room for 6 people to eat meals. All bedrooms had large closets and nice furniture with many drawers to unpack your suitcases. There were beach towels and all the other basic generic supplies (dishwasher soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and kitchen dish soap). The pool was also bigger than we were expecting and our 2 kids enjoyed hours of pool time. Unfortunately the pool area was not big enough to have an outside table for meals. Also the backyard pictures show grass but was a muddy dirt yard and is partially fenced in (large bushes where the fence stops). One item to note is the washer and dryer is a small stacked unit (can handle around 3-4 towels) instead of a full size.

Sanibel vacation

Everything was great. I wish that the company in charge of the property was a bit more attentive. I had to look up their phone number when we had a problem. Not anyone’s fault but it would have been easier if their phone number was posted somewhere accessible. We will definitely come back. We travelled with 2 Great Danes and they were very gracious in letting us stay.

We spent a week on the beach with our new puppy - and loved every minute of it.

Fantastic place to stay!

This was one of our best vacations ever! This house was steps to the beach and very private! It was very clean! I would highly recommend renting this home! Even though the island was busy for the holiday, it felt like you had a private, remote home to enjoy everything about the island!

Wonderful beach house with pool

We had a wonderful week in this cute beach home on Shell Basket Lane. We come to Sanibel every year and my only complaint is the trip ended too soon. The pool was definitely the main focus for the kids-it was big enough for all of us-2 adults and 3 kids. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook meals, there is a charcoal grill in the back yard, and the rooms are nicely furnished and decorated. The master bed was VERY comfortable. We experienced Tropical Storm Colin while on the island, and some of the landscaping suffered in the high winds, but the grounds-keeping crew was out the next day, cleaning up and mowing. The house is situated near the Sanibel Beach Club and Coquina Beach complexes, which you pass on your easy 1 block walk to the beach. Convenient to all that Sanibel has to offer-shopping, restaurants, wildlife refuge, lighthouse, beach, etc. Easy bike ride to many shops and restaurants. We recommend the Sanibel Fish House, The Lazy Flamingo, Doc Ford's, The Blue Giraffe, The Over Easy Cafe and Zebra Treats as some of our favorite spots for island grub. We always explore the Bailey Tract, and have seen alligators and a bobcat in years past. Go to the Periwinkle Park campground/RV park to check out the tropical birds, lemurs and monkeys! We love the Bailey-Matthews Shell Museum and the Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge, also. Tarpon Bay Explorers is a great place to rent kayaks or a boat to check out dolphins and manatees. We will rent this lovely home again!

Perfect location! Perfect accommodations!

We are so happy we found this house through Royal Shell vacations! It met all of our needs! It is the perfect house! Very quiet neighborhood as well! The beach is a block behind the house. I walked there everyday! The pool in the backyard was an added bonus! We will be back and we will stay in this house again!
