Thank you, Susan! We’re happy that you enjoyed your stay at El Capitan. And that the welcome goodies made your arrival easier. The beautiful ocean views along with the pool and easy beach access truly make this home a favorite for our travelers. As to some areas showing wear, we’re continually refreshing and improving our properties. With the ocean and the sand so close it’s a continuous uphill battl. Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I understand that there was communication between our guests service staff and you starting with your arrival and through out your stay. There even was an issue with the a/c acting up, and we reacted right away by providing you with a fan until the situation was resolved. However, you never mentioned in any of your communications that you had an issue with insect bites. You did transmit that message only after you had already left. I wish you would have told us right when you where confronted with the situation. Since we have a system put in place, and we know how to handle any situation such as this. We did inspect the property and you can be assured, there are not "bugs". You enjoyed the beach and our warm climate where flying insects and sand flees can be very aggressive during certain times of the year. Still, we are sorry, that you feel you wasted time during your stay in Puerto Rico. Let us know when you come back. I am sure we can work something out for a returning guest.
