Convenient Condo steps from the beach ....

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Arrived after hours (having been provided the access code at least once earlier in the day, both by text and email). The facility is presently a work in progress as many condos still have extensive renovations taking place. However, it appears that the condos that were available were quite nice. Our unit was a 2BR 2Bath oceanfront. You couldn’t beat the views. The balcony was unfortunately still waiting repair, but it didn’t hurt the view any. The staff were as helpful as they could be. Place could benefit from in-unit washers and dryers, but beyond that, we had zero concerns.

Reviewer Comments: Overall, we were so happy to be back at the Moorings and they have done a wonderful job getting things to where they are now.We did have some bug issues - spiders, lizards (very small) and very big Palmetto bugs. The bed in the main bedroom was very hard, but we found the guest room to be much more comfortable.Again, just so happpy to be back on Sanibel and already booked for next year

Dissatisfied with our favorite resort

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been staying at the Moorings for 8 years and have loved it. This stay (4/24) was very dissatisfying! We rented a unit with 2 laniais and were not informed that the gulf front lanai would not be usable. And the glass to even see the gulf was filthy. The outlets in the master bath did not work and there were several roaches in our unit. We expected ongoing construction but didn’t appreciate the fact that there would still broken glass lining the paths near our unit.

Perfect 3 generation beach vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We usually vacation on Duck Lake, Lake Michigan or Disney World. Our daughter had been to Sanibel Moorings and told us it would be the perfect place for us, she was right. Our grandsons are getting older, now we have wonderful beach memories with them. We rented 3 condo units. We enjoyed the beach, the pool, the gardens, Ding Darling, and ice cream at a new place every night. The condos were all decorated differently and each one was just right for each family. The wooden ceilings in ours gave me some decorating ideas. We saw turtle tracks on the beach, dolphins jumping in the ocean, and manatees at Ding Darling. We walked on the beach early in the morning . We enjoyed the covered, screened porches and all the comforts of home.

Lovely place to stay

This is one of the most updated condos on the property. I had family in other rooms and theirs were not as nice as mine. Beautiful view of the ocean from the master bedroom. Just what I needed to unplug and reset.
